 Happy Monday! Sis, it's the last day of June. Today, I just came to remind you how beautiful you are. In a world where beauty standards are measured by body weight, hourglass figures, and so much more. I came to remind you how beautiful you are. Your size won't define your beauty. Your weight won’t hold you hostage. Sis, be your own kind of beautiful. But while you are dressing the outer person, make sure the inner person is beautiful as well. Make sure your heart is just as beautiful as your outfit. Make sure your soul is just as beautiful as the foundation on your face. Make sure your mind is healed and not like the concealer we place on our face to conceal our scars. Make sure your life is a light shining for God just like the highlights utilize to ensure your skin is glowing and radiant.
Sis, today you have no reason to compare with the woman. God made you beautiful in His image and likeness. God created you to be uniquely yourself. Don’t settle for the beauty standards of men. Your makeup should enhance your natural beauty! Sis, you are beautiful just the way you are! Never forget it! So, don’t be hard on yourself today. Give yourself grace and love the beauty of you!  Happy Friday! Sis, we made it through another week. Today, what dreams have you delayed? What has caused you to pause instead of living out your dreams? What mistake has caused you to rethink it all? I came to remind you that even though your dreams may be delayed, they are still not denied. There is still more inside of you. How dare you allow one more thing to stop you from pursuing your dreams? Sis, there is more living for you to do. There are more dreams still unfilled. Don’t stop because of the mistake. Stop allowing what’s before or around you to cause you to be defeated. Stop letting your mood be affected by how you feel and what you see. Sis, we win and we already have the victory. Today, show up like you know you have the victory! Walk like you have the victory. Talk like you have the victory. We will never be defeated!  Happy Monday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Today is the beginning of another week. Sis, I need you to breathe. I need you to stop, close your eyes, and just breathe. Whatever you are carrying release it. Whatever your fears are release them. Whatever offended you release it. Whatever trauma you have carried release it. Whatever causes tears to swell in your eyes release them. Whatever healing you need release it. Sis, today just breathe and trust God to do what you can’t. It’s hard, it’s heavy, it’s overwhelming, it’s trying to overtake you, it’s too much to handle, sis, just breathe. I need you to breathe. If you are anxious; if you are overwhelmed; if you are overthinking; if you are struggling, sis, I need you to breathe. No matter what happens this week, no matter what you will face this week, sis, I need you to breathe. Breathing helps calm you just a little. Sis, breathe, pray, and give it to God! Are you prepared to give the presentation? Are you prepared for the career change? Are you prepared to walk and believe that you are next? Are you ready for the relationship? Has your mindset shifted? Sis, don’t think God has forgotten about you. Don’t forget He is still concerned about you. Don’t forget that God can and He will. Don’t forget to prepare your heart and your mind for what God is about to do in you and through you. May your day be filled with shifting your mindset as you prepare your heart for what is coming.  Girl, wake up! It’s the start of a new week. Today, I need to stay humble. Yes, I know you have it all together. Yes, I know the business is flourishing. Yes, I know the doors are opening for you. Yes, I know you have been invited to spaces and tables you have never been to before. But, don’t forget who placed you at the table. Don’t forget who opened the doors for you. Don’t forget why the business is flourishing. God did it. Don’t allow the accolades of man to cause you to forget. See man is fickle and seasons change. Don’t allow pride to take root in your heart. Just like it’s happening for you now, it can all change in one moment. Sis, stay humble and keep grinding. Don’t despise humble beginnings. Don’t forget to come back and say thank you to the One who placed you where you are. Let your next move be filled with being humble and being grateful to the One who put you there.  Dear God, I pray that you would give me and my sister friend the grace to run this race. Allow us to extend that grace to others that you give us to us daily. Don’t allow the hang-ups and hiccups of others to cause us to stumble in the race. God keep us focused on the race. Even if we are tired, give us renewed strength. Allow us to remember that race is not given to the swift nor the strong, but the one that endures to the end. Give us enduring power. Give us staying power. Give us the grace to stay focused. Give us the grace to believe again. Give us the grace to love again. Give us the grace to be steady in the race. God, be our anchor in the race when it feels like it’s all falling apart. God allow us to run this race well with the grace that only comes from you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
 Hey, girl, hey! Wake up, it’s Winning Wednesday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Today, while sharing and encouraging the heart of a young woman don’t forget to be transparent. It’s easy for us to say, know your worth at our age. But, we can’t forget that in our 20s and even our 30s we settle for some people, places, and things that were not good for us or our souls. And some of us still struggle in our 40s and beyond. But, hopefully, we have matured to a point where settling is not an option.
While you are encouraging, transparency is necessary. Let them know you haven’t always lived the life you live today. Be transparent about moments where you were you almost gave up. Times where you settled and didn’t know the value of yourself or your body. This generation needs truth and transparency. This generation needs to know it won’t always be easy. This generation needs to know God is with them. This generation needs to know your life is still not perfect. This generation needs to know you still make mistakes but are grateful for grace daily. This generation needs your honest opinion when necessary. This generation needs to be reminded that they are loved. That they are seen. That they are heard. That we are praying for them. May your day be filled with an opportunity to encourage a young person. Always remember that you are loved. Until next time…Lady T  Girl, wake up! It’s Monday morning! It’s the beginning of a new week. And what makes it even better is that you are still becoming. You are still becoming the woman that God designed for you to be. Please don’t give up too soon on her. Don’t allow people, places, and things to change your perspective of her. She is growing and glowing. The favor of God is resting upon her life. She may not be all she wants to be, but she is not who she used to be. She is becoming. She is impacting lives. She is blazing her own trail. She is the light in a dark place. But most of all the way she sees herself is better than before. She takes time to water herself, rest, and live her best life.
Sis, NEVER give up on who you are still becoming. It’s all a part of the process and the journey. Give yourself grace this week. Show up more confident than ever. And most of all be so in love with the woman that you are becoming that you will not sit in what didn’t work and who left you. Sis, you have so much potential. Your time is NOW! May your day be as amazing as you are and always remember that you are loved. |
