 Sis, wake up! It’s going to be a Fabulous Friday! Today, just keep standing! No matter what is before you or what you just walked out of, keep standing. If they laugh, keep standing. If they don’t believe the vision, keep standing. No matter who doubts, keep standing. Don’t change your stance. Sis, just keep standing. You may ask, “What are we standing on?” Sis, we are standing on the promises of God for they are yea and amen. We are standing on the Word of God that cannot and will not return void or even fail. Sis, it’s going to happen for you, just keep standing. God sees, God knows, and God cares. Hold on, just don’t quit. Keep standing and keep believing that God will do what He said. Activate your faith and remember that no matter what happens, no matter who vacates the premises, no matter who laughs or mocks you, just keep standing!  Girl, wake up! It’s Winning Wednesday! Just stopping by to say tell God thank you! Sis, you survived it. The thing you thought you couldn’t make it through. The relationship that left you with heartbreak. The nights you didn’t know. The nights you couldn’t sleep because you forgot God never sleeps or slumbers. The day you received the call from the doctor asking you to come back in. The time the weight of it all seemed insurmountable. The time when you showed up at church and wondered does anyone see you. The time you came to work and just sat in your chair because life was hard. A time when life is lifeing and you were overwhelmed. The time when your loved one left too soon by your time clock.
Sis, you survived it. You survived every plot, every scheme, every attack, and so much more. No, you may not be where you want to be, but thanks be unto God you made it out alright. Thanks be unto God you can sing again, laugh again, love again, and appreciate life a little more. Thanks be unto God that you don’t look like what you have been through. Thanks be unto God that you have a memory of what God brought you out of and brought you through. You matter how tough it was, you survived it. No matter how many tears were shed, you survived it.  Girl, wake up! You made it through another week. Today, just be grateful that God remained consistent in your life. In spite of the times that we all messed up; made mistakes; said if God removed us, we would never do it again and did; lied and backslid; been with people and in spaces that we had no business being there; we promised to do better; promised to read our Bible; promised to activate our faith, but in spite of all those failures, mistakes, mishaps, God still remained steady, faithful, and consistent. HE didn’t walk away like everyone else.
So, today while you are counting your blessings, stop to tell God, “THANK YOU.” For every time we were forgiven, for every time grace was extended; for every time HE gave us beauty for ashes; for the times we experienced heartbreak and God wrapped His loving arms around us; for every time HE carried us; for every time HE wiped every tear from our eyes; for every time we called HIS name in prayer. You must be okay with not being invited; You must understand that there is a purpose in ALL things; You must know that God has not forgotten about you; You must trust that God has seen your tears and heard your prayers; You must walk in confidence and victory; You must live out your dreams; You must know that you can start again; You must know that ALL things are working together for your good; You must know that the tears are a part of the testimony; You must rest in the promises of God; You must know that you are not always right; You must learn how to extend grace; You must learn how to forgive and move forward; You must know that your tone and tenor matter; You must know that your words hold life and death; You must walk by faith and not by sight; You must know that you will not be everyone’s cup of tea and that's okay; You must know that God’s will for your life is better than your own will; You must know that you don’t need friends to validate who you are; You must know that it’s okay to be corrected in love; You must know that you need to bloom where you are planted; You must know that if you don’t know, it’s okay to ask the question; Most of all you must know that you are loved by God who knew you would continue to mess up.  Happy Friday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Sis, it’s time to be still. Still enough to hear His voice. Sometimes we get caught up in being busy, but busyness keeps us distracted. It prevents us from hearing what God wants to speak to us. When was the last time you slowed down enough to hear His voice? When was the last time you paused to pray? Sis, sometimes you just need to rest in Him. Rest in knowing that He wants your full attention. We give so much of ourselves and our schedules that when God wants to speak we can’t hear His voice. Not only do we not sit still, but we have been busy for so long that we don’t know His voice. You are not too busy to hear from Him. The answer to your prayer could be in the stillness of His voice. You won’t have time to compete with the next woman. You won’t have time to judge the next woman’s journey. Sis, focus on you and the work you have to put in. Focus on the assignment given by God. Focus on what matters. Focus on what will make you a better woman, wife, daughter, sister, friend, and so much more. Sis, your journey will not be complicated, if you focus on yourself. We should be so busy improving ourselves, that we don’t have time to be critical of another woman’s journey or her steps. Girl, get up! It’s the start of a new week. Today, I pray that you will breathe. I know you cried yesterday. I know you were heartbroken yesterday. I know you were overwhelmed. I know you almost gave up. But, I have good news. Better is on the way! You cannot move forward consumed by your yesterday. You cannot keep being consumed by what didn’t go right yesterday. Don’t let the cares of yesterday, dim the brightness of today. My sister, be encouraged because it is going to get better. It has to get better. Sis, stop worrying about who does not care for you. Stop going overboard to create friendships with others that are designed to be associates. Sis, I know there is a majority that loves you, supports you, encourages you, cheers for you, cries with you, laughs with you, and most of all wants to see you win. Listen, the majority is more than important than the minority. Today, shift your focus and change your perspective. If you have one good friend, be appreciative of the one. Don’t get caught up in numbers. Don’t get caught up in who you think should be there for you and show up for you. If you wait for others, most times you will be disappointed.
