 Happy Friday! Girl, we made it through the week and await the extended weekend. Today, keep shining! There is a woman somewhere watching your light. It is bright and shining. She may never know you personally, but she is watching your moves. Not to be envious, but to be inspired by the woman who shines bright. The woman who never gives up. The woman who keeps inspiring and keeps giving. The woman who always stays ready for the next adventure. The woman who laughs at the future without fear. The woman who doesn’t mind reaching back and helping the next lady maximize her potential. The one who strengthens, encourages, and inspires the next woman to show up as her best self. The one who won’t allow her to settle. The one who wants to see every woman maximize their full potential. The one who will laugh with you and the one who will encourage you when you feel like you have failed.
Sis, you are a diamond shining bright for the world to see and know. Sis, they are watching and are so inspired by your tenacity and perseverance. Keep showing up on days when life is tough.  Girl, wake up! It’s another Winning Wednesday! Today, I want you to celebrate the tribe that you call friends. You know the sister friends who want to see you win and they want to see you win too. The ones who celebrate your wins and encourage your heart in the losses. The ones you can share and never hear again. The ones who tell you when you are wrong. The ones who show up not only for you, but your family. The ones who will see you and say what’s wrong, even in the midst of you telling no one about your hard season. The ones you laugh with and cry with. The ones who are there to simply be a hand to hold or a shoulder to cry on.
Today, I want you to celebrate them. Show them appreciation. Thank them. Encourage them. They rode with you through some of the toughest seasons in your life. They have seen your hard work prevail. They have held your hands in grief and hugged you in celebration. Today, take a moment to send them a text or an email. Let them know you love them and are thankful for their friendship and their consistency. May you recognize your tribe and celebrate them. Always remember that you are loved. Today, I need you to stop settling for safe. Stop making mountains out of molehills. What keeps you from being bold, courageous, and fearless? It’s time to stop living in comfort. Do you know everyone was in the boat except for Peter? Peter was the only one who stepped out of the boat. What boat are you seated and settled in? What boat has you settling for safe? How does the doubt of others cause you to doubt within yourself? Sis, stop existing and live! Don’t allow your dreams to be placed on hold because of your lack of boldness, lack of courage, and fearfulness. The time is NOW! Walk in boldness, walk in confidence, and fear-LESS! Today, I came to remind you about the legacy that you are creating. Don’t allow the people's laughter to distract you from the legacy you are building. People who aren’t building anything will always have something to say. People who don’t understand impacting generations will always have something to say. Don’t allow the laughter to halt what God wants to do in and through you. You are leaving a legacy for your children’s children. You are loving and leading by example. You don't have time to stop and address the laughter. Continue to build a life that your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren would be proud of. Allow your good works and your legacy to outlive you as an individual. Legacy is more than things. It's about teaching them about Jesus. It's about being good financial stewards of everything God has entrusted you with. It's about remembering the past and making the future better than yesterday.  Happy Monday! It’s the start of a brand new week! Today, I know the childhood trauma occurred. I know you feel like you are drowning. I know it’s hard to see your way. I know you can’t erase the nights you cried and the times you were afraid. I know the triggers are overwhelming. But, I need you to do the work to heal. It’s okay to depend on God and speak with a therapist simultaneously.
Listen, sometimes we sit in the trauma that we don’t enjoy on our adult experience. We spend most of our years reliving our trauma so we can’t focus on the good things occurring now. You allow your trauma to rob you of the peace, joy, love, and happiness that come from God and your healing. Your adult experience needs to be healed from the little girl who was scared and afraid. The little girl who experienced more pain than joy. The girl who had to be an adult too fast. I need you to do that work so that your childhood trauma will not show up in your adult experience. Love yourself enough to do what is necessary to become the best healed version of yourself. May your day be filled with love, joy, peace, and happiness. Always remember that you are loved. You can search high and low and still will not find anyone to love you like He does. His love is irreplaceable. His love is unmatched. So, when tears stream down your face, God loves you.
