 Girl, wake up! It’s Winning Wednesday! Today, I pray that your day is off to a great start. Sis, why are you consumed by who doesn’t support you? Why are you worried about who is not clapping for you? Sis, you don’t need the crowd to clap when you can clap yourself. Don't allow the likes of social media shape the woman you are becoming. Who told you everyone would support you? Who told you that you needed the crowd to be successful? Well, you don’t. Sis, clap for yourself, encourage yourself, speak over yourself, and most of all love yourself. You don’t need the majority to win. You and God will be the majority every time. The next time you feel like everyone is winning but you, check your record. Don’t allow your need for the applause of man to be your distraction. Sis, just keep going and growing! Girl, you got this! Happy Monday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Today, sis, take a moment to check in on your friends. The ones who have been going non-stop. The ones who always show up for you. The ones who keep saying they are exhausted. The ones who have called crying and wanting to give up. It’s getting close to the holiday season. Some of us show up for Thanksgiving dinner wondering if anyone sees us. Some of us avoid family during the holidays, so they will not have to answer questions that should not be asked anyway. Someone has filled their schedule with stuff, so they will not have to feel or deal with the grief. Someone will spend this holiday alone. Someone just finalized a divorce and trying to navigate this season.
Sis, take time to check on your friends. Don’t allow them to navigate this season alone. Be there for them like they have been for you. Show up for them as they show for you. Listen to them as they listen to you. Sis, don’t allow them to give up too soon. Be the hand to hold, the ear to listen, and the shoulder to cry on. Be the friend you would want others to be for you. Be simply amazing today and always remember that you are loved. Until Wednesday….Lady T  Happy Friday! We made it through another week. Sis, I know it's almost the end of November and we will soon be closing out 2024. I know you are exhausted. I know you have been holding it together. I know you have wanted to just pull the covers over your head and try again. I know it’s been overwhelming lately. I know what they said. I know what they told you. I know they laughed and mocked your dreams and visions. I know that life has been lifeing. If nobody told you this year, I permit you to rest. Rest from the vicissitudes of life. Rest from having to be all things and do all things. Rest from going here and there. Rest from your weariness and just simply being overwhelmed. Rest from having to still show up and wondering if anyone sees you or if anyone cares.
Today, I give you permission to lay it down and let it go. I permit you to choose your peace this time. I permit you to rest your weary soul. Sis, God knows you are better when you have rested. Stop being the superwoman that you think everyone needs, and be the woman who chooses to love herself, care for herself, and rest her weary soul. Sometimes sitting still and being quiet is necessary. Learn how to sit and learn from your mistakes. Learn how to grow from the situation. Learn what is necessary in this season. Learn how to ask for wisdom. Learn how to remember that neither one of us knows everything. Sometimes it requires us to study to be quiet. Nope, we don’t have all the answers. Nope, it’s hard for some of us to just sit still. But, this season may require self-assessment. This season may require self-development. It’s okay to sit and learn. It’s okay to sit and be taught. It’s okay to not do all the things and be all the things, but be still enough to hear the voice of God. I promise sometimes He speaks in a still small voice. But, we find ourselves doing and praying for answers when God has already spoken. Sit and be poured into. Sit and journal. But, most of all, sit, be quiet, and learn the lesson in this season.  Happy Monday! I pray that your week is off to a great start! Today, give it to God. Sis, you can’t control it, so stop allowing it to control you. No need to walk to floors at night, trust Him to fight for you, to bring you out, to walk with you, and to work it on your behalf. You have seen God do too much before to stop trusting Him now. Sis, go to work, go to class, and wake up knowing that God is in control of everything, even your life. While you try to figure it out, God has already done it for you. Stop worrying and start believing the Word that you read. But sis, you first have to read it to know that God’s got you and is in control of ALL things.  Happy Friday! We made it through another week. Today, don’t allow the fumbles of life to cause you to get out of the game. Sis, stay in the game. The fumbles in life will happen. But, it’s your strength from God, your tenacity, your ability to believe in yourself and so much more that keeps you in the game. Don’t allow the fumble to keep you from finishing the game of life. Sis, you have fumbled previously, but don't allow this fumble to take you out. Yep! You fumbled and you may have even caused an interception. But, what did you learn from it all? Sis, it’s still time to win. It’s still time to stay in the game. Stay focused; stay locked in; and finish the great work that God has begun in you. You have so much work left to do. You have so many plays before the end of the game. Refuse to stop when the fumble occurs. And when it happens look up, keep praying, and keep going. Because you realize it’s not your strength, but look to the One who has given you renewed strength each day. Be simply amazing today and always remember that you are loved. Until Monday….Lady T🩷

 Happy Monday, I pray that your week is off to a great start. Today, we pause to salute all veterans. Thank you for your service to our country.
Today, I need you to keep going. You have worked too hard to get where you are today. You have made too many sacrifices to give up now. You prayed, but you kept the faith. You cried but recognized your strength came from God. You are almost at the finish line, but all you think about is right now. Sis, God has brought you too far in the journey to give up now. Life kept lifeing and God kept bringing you out. God kept providing for you. God kept showing up for you. God kept wiping tears from your eyes. God kept being faithful even though your faith wasn’t faithing. God gave you renewed strength even in fatigue. Sis, God has continued to show up for you. And because He keeps showing up for you, you can’t give up now. He has been too good to you to quit now. God has blessed you beyond measure. God has seen you through it all. You have worked too hard to stop now. Finish the book, write the devotional, go back to school, apply for the position, and most of all believe in yourself. Sis, it’s keep going! Just take a deep breath and leave the rest to God. You do not need to worry about yesterday, today, or the future. God has never let you down before and He never will. People will fail you, but God will not. People will walk away, but God will not. People will tell your business, but God will not. People will count you out, but God will not. People will break your heart, but God will not. People will give up on you, but God will not. Sis, breathe and leave the rest to God. God sees you, loves you, cares for you, and is concerned about you and what you carry in your heart. If He feeds the birds, and clothes the grass of the field, don’t you know that God will take care of you? Sis, move confidently today knowing that God’s got you! Love the woman you are and the woman you have become. Live your life without regrets. Live on purpose. Walk with integrity and character. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Laugh often. Wake up with a grateful heart. Sis, just live well. Don’t get caught up in negativity. Don’t worry about who is against you when God is for you. God is faithful!
