Friday’s Encouragement

​Girl, it’s Friday! Yep, we made it through another week. Thanks be unto God. Today, while you focusing on the public you, it’s time to address the private you. We are so concerned about how the world perceives us that we forget about the woman in the mirror. It’s time to stop showing up dressed nice and empty inside. It’s time to stop having the latest handbag and have no peace inside. It’s time to stop posting for approval and work on the makeup we put on to cover our wounds. Sis, it’s time to do the work to be the best version of yourself ever. Take the makeup off, and look at the woman in the mirror. What can she do better? How can she show up better? Today, I encourage you to pause and look in the mirror. I am not talking about glancing but staring back at the woman in the mirror. It’s time to love her again, encourage her again, cheer for her again,  support her again, and do the work again to be better. 

Sis, it’s all up to you. Don’t be known as amazing to the world and broken and wounded in private. Be encouraged my sister to take the first step to becoming the real version of who God created you to be. Even in the messiness of it all, ask God for strength to show up free and healed. Be simply amazing today and always remember that you are loved. Until Monday….Lady T
