Friday’s Encouragement

​Girl, wake up! It’s Friday and we made it through another week. Listen, stop sitting with people who tolerate you. Sit with people who appreciate who you are as a woman and what you bring to the table. Stop sitting with people who smile in your face and whisper behind your back. Stop sitting with people who say go girl to your face and say it’s not going to work behind your back.

Sis, go where you are loved, appreciated, celebrated, encouraged, and so much more. I do still believe there are good women in this world that want to see you win. I still believe we are better together. I do still believe that there are women who love where you are and are excited about where you are going. I do still believe that there are women who cry with you, pray with you, laugh with you, and sit with you. Every woman is not in competition with you. Sis, it’s time to check where you are sitting or even where you have been seated. Never sit where you are not free to be yourself. Sis, check your table and your circle.
