Friday’s Encouragement

Happy Friday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Did you stop today to tell God, “Thank you?” Thank you for the open doors because it was my time and my season. Thank you for the closed doors because I wasn’t ready for what I thought I wanted. Thank you for my broken heart because now I know that you can mend and heal broken hearts. Thank you for the tears I shed because you were there to wipe every tear from my eyes. Thank you when I thought I was drowning you saved me from my own stuff. Thank you for loving me when I didn’t think anyone saw me or loved me. Thank you that you heard and answered my prayer. ​

Thank you that my latter has been greater than my former. Thank you for soothing my doubts and calming my fears when I was overwhelmed. Thank you for being a present help in the time of trouble. Thank you that I can cast every worry, every fear, every burden because your yoke is easy and your burdens are light. Thank you that it a crowded room my light still exudes you. Thank you that no matter who stays or walks away your love for me is consistent. Thank you that you have walked with me through doctor’s diagnosis, childbirth, burying loved ones, employment challenges, insecurities, and so much more. 

Sis, stop what you are doing and say, “God, I thank you!” Be grateful that you are still standing, still praising, still serving, still laughing, still healing, still wanting better for you and your life. Sis, you may not have everything that you want, but with God on your side all things are possible. Be simply amazing today and don’t forget to stop and say, “God, I thank you!” Always remember that you are loved. Until next time…Lady T
