Friday’s Encouragement

​Happy Friday! We made it through another week. Sis, I know it's almost the end of November and we will soon be closing out 2024. I know you are exhausted. I know you have been holding it together. I know you have wanted to just pull the covers over your head and try again. I know it’s been overwhelming lately. I know what they said. I know what they told you. I know they laughed and mocked your dreams and visions. I know that life has been lifeing. If nobody told you this year, I permit you to rest. Rest from the vicissitudes of life. Rest from having to be all things and do all things. Rest from going here and there. Rest from your weariness and just simply being overwhelmed. Rest from having to still show up and wondering if anyone sees you or if anyone cares. 

Today, I give you permission to lay it down and let it go. I permit you to choose your peace this time. I permit you to rest your weary soul. Sis, God knows you are better when you have rested. Stop being the superwoman that you think everyone needs, and be the woman who chooses to love herself, care for herself, and rest her weary soul. Be simply amazing and take time to rest and treasure yourself this weekend. Always remember that you are loved. Until Monday…..Lady T
