Friday’s Encouragement

Happy Friday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Guess what? You made it to the end of another week. In moments when I didn’t know, love lifted me. In moments where it was hard, love lifted me. In moments of heartbreak, love lifted me. In moments where the were more tears than smiles, love lifted me. While awaiting the doctor’s results, love lifted me. In moments where my words were few, love lifted me. In moments when I felt all alone, love lifted me. In the moments when the betrayal of friends broke my heart, love lifted me. In the moments when I showed up for them and they never showed up, love lifted me. I am grateful that when nothing else could help, it was the love of God that rescued me. I will never forget that God’s love carried me, reached me, rescued me, heard me, and saved me. Grateful that when I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore, it was the love of God that pulled me through.
