Monday Morning Inspiration

Happy Monday! I hope that your day is off to a great start. Today, I need you to pause and celebrate the woman in the mirror. You have overcome what others would have crumbled in. You continue to get up every day ready for the day. You have walked through some of the hardest seasons in your life, even some filled with traumatic experiences. You never stop believing in the woman in the mirror. There were times when there were more tears than smiles. There were times when you wanted to give up and should have given up, but you kept going. There were moments of uncertainty with your health, but God is a healer. There were plenty of days when you looked in the mirror and asked, “Why me?” Why do I have to walk this journey? Why does this have to be part of my story? Why are others jealous when I didn’t even ask for any of this?
But sis, celebrate the woman you see looking back at you. She is still persevering; she is still determined; she is still innovative; she is still standing; she is still loving and liking the woman in the mirror; she is still showing up; she is still smiling; she is still crushing every goal; she is still an inspiration to many; she is still here and she is still evolving in a better version of the woman she always dreamed about. Sis, keep celebrating who you see in the mirror. She may not be all that you want her to be, but thank God she is not who she used to be. She has grown and her faith is steady. Sis, keep showing up for her and never give up on her. May your day be filled with sweet reminders of victories big or small that you keep reminding you that you are an overcomer.
