Thankful Thursday

Girl, get up! It’s Thankful Thursday! As I reflect on the years of motherhood, I have grown to understand that our presence outweighs a gift any day. So many times we get caught up in providing for them what we didn’t receive as a child. But, what matters most in this season is our presence. Whether your kids are young or old, your presence matters. Whether you worked all day or stayed up all night, they still need to see your face at the football game, basketball game, cheerleading event, volleyball game, or whatever sport/activity they are interested in. They may not be the best on the team, but they need to see your smile and hear your voice from the stands. Sis, take the pressure off yourself. Your presence is a gift. Make sure you love them, show up for them, encourage them, and be their greatest cheerleader. The gifts you buy can deteriorate, but your presence will be a gift ever etched in their memory. May your day be filled with sweet reminders that the gift of motherhood can be challenging and rewarding all at the same time. Always remember that you are loved! Lady T🩷
