Wednesday Life Lesson

​Happy Wednesday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Today, I know it’s hard and I know it’s complicated. I know you are trying to figure it out. But, what if the answer is to let go? Letting go is necessary sometimes, but it often is the hardest thing to do. Do you sit where it’s hard? Do you tolerate the disrespect? Do you love yourself enough to make the decision?

Sis, what if letting go is necessary for your peace? What if letting go is necessary for your self-worth? What if letting go will release you from the triggers of your past and your pain? What if familiarity is holding you there?  What if letting go no longer looks like acceptance of behavior that is not conducive to you and for you? What if letting go is necessary for growth? What if letting go causes you to love and like the woman in the mirror again? What if life has caused so much pain that you have normalized behavior that you shouldn’t even tolerate?

My sister and my friend, I pray for you. I pray that you will be endowed with the boldness needed to make the necessary adjustments in your life. I pray that you will rediscover the woman you lost so many years ago. I pray that settling will no longer be your portion. I pray that God will order your steps. I pray that your spirit and soul will be settled that keeps God as a priority. I pray that God would give you the strength to take the next steps that you are toiling with. I pray that you would listen to God’s voice. I pray that you would hush so that the healing will take place. 

Sis, your self-worth is important in the season. The way you see yourself is necessary in this season. The way you love yourself is necessary in this season. The way you show up for yourself is necessary in this season. May your day be filled with being still enough to hear God’s voice and being obedient enough to obey. Always remember that you are loved.
