Wednesday's Life Lesson

Hey, girl, hey! Wake up! It’s Winning Wednesday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Today, take a moment to hug and listen to your firstborn. It’s because of them that you were blessed to be called mom. Most of us as first-time mothers whether planned or unplanned had no idea of what motherhood would look like. Some of us modeled our journey like our moms and some of us didn’t want to model them at all. Your firstborn had to deal with your on-the-job training. They watched you be overly protective and even overly emotional at times. Momma, stop and hug them. 

​Your firstborn taught you to never give up; taught you patience; taught you how to love unconditionally; taught you to stay on your knees in prayer; taught you to enjoy laughs; taught you to breathe when life is overwhelming; but most of all they taught us to enjoy the special moments and create our memories and family traditions. It’s because of the firstborn you believe you could handle another child. Momma, you all literally grew up together. Today, take a moment to hug and pray for your firstborn child. No matter where they are in life, never forget that we’re blessed to call your mom first. Be simply amazing today on purpose and always remember you are loved. Lady T
