 Happy Friday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Today, I know it's hard, and I know it’s heavy. But sis, let me encourage your heart. It's only a season. You will get through it. Cry if you need to, scream if you need to, but don't give up. God hears your prayers and sees your tears. God knows all about it before you even open your mouth. I can't tell you when or how, but hold fast to your faith. Don't allow the season to make you forget the other seasons of harvest, blessing, more than enough, and overflow. God never asks you to be strong; He needs you to trust Him. Trust Him with the things you carry in your heart. He can handle it! Today, keep pressing. Keep going and be encouraged.  Hey, girl, hey! Wake up, it’s another Winning Wednesday. Today, you get a chance to tell fear you no longer live in my heart, my mind, or even in my space. Feel free to take residence somewhere else, just not here. You have robbed me of peace, love, joy, gratitude, and so much. Freedom shall be my portion. Joy shall be my portion. Peace shall be my portion. Gratitude shall be my portion. I now walk in the freedom of what occurred. Free from the guilt and shame. Free from the opinions of others. Free to be who God created me to be. Free to love and like the woman in the mirror. Free to live out my dreams. Free to no longer be bound by people, places, or things.  Girl, wake up! It's the start of another week. Today, remember that God can do exceedingly and abundantly above all that you could ever ask or think. What has your faith walk challenged? What thoughts are you carrying in your heart? What is your mouth leaking that your heart is speaking? I came to encourage your heart and remind you that God is able. God is able to heal, deliver, set free, mend broken hearts, heal your marriage, restore relationships, and work on you to be better and not bitter. God is able to do more than you could ever ask Him to and more than you could ever think or imagine. Don't you dare doubt now. Don't you dare give up now. God can not and will not lie. God’s word will not return void. Sis, stand on the promises of God. Remember your history with God. GOD IS ABLE!  Happy Friday! Sis, we made it through another week! Today, take a moment to love the woman you see in the mirror. You love everyone else, take care of everyone else, celebrate everyone else, and clap for everyone else, but you are slow to do the same for yourself. Today, pause and speak life to the woman in the mirror. Take care of the woman in the mirror. Love the woman in the mirror. Tell her that you love her. Tell her that you promise to take care of her. Tell her that you love the woman she is and the one she is becoming. Tell her that her strength is extraordinary. Tell her that her laugh is infectious. Tell her that her kindness is seen and appreciated by everyone. Tell her that she may not be where she wants to be, but she is surely not where she used to be. Tell her that every valley made her kneel in prayer more, and every mountain made her realize she has so much potential to excel. Tell her she can love again, laugh again, and dream again. Remind her that no matter where she is or where she goes, she is loved!

Don't sit in yesterday's mistakes. Don't focus on the defeat of the day before. Don't allow what you can't see to hinder you from moving forward. Sis, just keep winning! Keep showing up and never give up! Keep crushing every goal. Keep living out your dreams. Keep being bold and courageous. Keep laughing at the future without fear. Keep canceling doubt and fear. You have so much living to do. You have so many dreams to fulfill. I pray that you will keep winning in every area of your life. And when it feels like the loss is overtaking you, pause and ask God to show you the lesson in the loss. You are more than enough and more than capable to win! Just keep showing up and keep winning.  Happy Friday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Sis, it’s stretching season. It’s time to be uncomfortable and do what God has called you to do. It was never intended for you to be comfortable for too long. In this season, God is requiring more of you. More praying, more reading your Word, more fasting, more yielding to God’s will for your life, more discernment, more quietness, and less talking, sis, are you ready to be stretched? Growth is produced during the stretching season. Clarity is produced in the stretching season. It’s uncomfortable, but it's necessary. Today, will you allow God to stretch you for the betterment of His glory? Or will you settle for being comfortable in this season? The stretch is required for the next part of the journey.  Girl, wake up, it’s Winning Wednesday! And while we are winning, don’t forget to reach back and tell “your village,” thank you. You are the remarkable individual you are because of God and those placed along the journey to pour into you. I have been on a journey of self-reflection since last year, when my parents turned seventy-years old, and recently when I celebrated men and women since January who loved me, supported me, encouraged me, believed in me, corrected me in love when I was wrong, laughed with me during joyous times, prayed with me during hard times, clapped for me, showed up for me, and so much more.
Today, I salute every person who was a part of my village. Your love and support helped me become the amazing woman, wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, First Lady, etc., that I am today. I am grateful to be standing on the shoulders of giants. I am thankful for the encouragement to believe in the woman I am today. I am grateful to my parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family for the foundation they have given me. I am thankful for my Sunday School teachers who taught us about Jesus, my Girl Scout leaders who instilled the sense of sisterhood and being a salesperson with Girl Scout cookies, my TMBC cheer coaches who believed in the cheerleader in me, my youth leaders who volunteered me to recite parts in church plays to prepare me for public speaking, my teachers and college professors who believed in me further than what I could see, and our church musicians who believed in my background singing voice and who even almost gave me a solo. Today, I pause to salute those who reminded me that I am my ancestors' wildest dreams. Those who reminded me that I am bold, black, and beautiful. Those who encouraged me to believe further than my current. Those who loved me while I was still searching and finding who Tikia was. Those who reminded me that my voice, my view, and so much more mattered. Today, I pause to say, “thank you.” I am forever grateful for my village, and it is my responsibility to be what my village has been to me for the next generation. Today is about sending a quick text, email, or phone to thank those who lived in a moment in history when we did not. Those who participated in sit-ins, marches, endured blatant racism, and so much more. Today, we pause to thank you and celebrate you. May the village feel the love, support, and appreciation of this message. We are grateful for your love and support. We promise to constantly remind our children of the sacrifice, your labor of love, and your tears. You are truly appreciated. Always remember that you are loved. Lady T  Happy Monday, I pray that your day is off to a great start. Today, I came to remind you of a couple of things. My dear sister and friend, you are enough; you are beautiful; you are worthy to give love and receive love; you are intelligent enough to be in that position or be an entrepreneur; you are capable enough to live a life you love and like; you are bold enough to break down barriers; you are courageous enough to stand on truth; you are your ancestors' wildest dream; you are kind enough to be attentive to the youngest and oldest in the room; you can and will make an impact in the world; you are resourceful enough to pour into the next woman or girl; you are the woman that you are today because of God’s goodness and faithfulness in your life. Never take for granted how God created you. You are unique on purpose. No need to change who you are to be loved, to feel apart, and to be celebrated. No matter what happens today, remember that you are enough. May your week be filled with sweet reminders that you are enough whatever room you show up in this week.  Happy Friday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Today, I know it feels like the storm will not cease. But, I need you to be encouraged! Why? It’s only temporary. The storm can’t last forever. What has crowded your mind and placed doubt in your heart? Have you forgotten about what God did last time? Have you forgotten that He won’t fail you? Have you forgotten that God loves you? Have you forgotten that God sees you? Have you forgotten that God heard your prayers? Sis, wake up, it’s morning! Wake up and see theq goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wake up, sis, it’s passing over. The storm won’t last forever. Don’t allow the storm to disturb your peace, but determine what you can learn from the storm. Not all storms come to clear paths; some storms build character, endurance, faith, and so much more. Sis, weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning! Girl, wake up! It’s morning! Walk today knowing it won’t always be like this. Always remember that you are loved.
