 Happy Mother’s Day Weekend! I pray that your day is off to a great start. So, mommas, take the break you deserve this weekend. If you want to do absolutely nothing, that’s fine too. But take a moment to pause and appreciate the weekend. Whether it's breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, shopping, or catching up with friends, you deserve it.
To the sister friend, who is still grieving the loss of your mother or your child, take a moment to pause and sit with how it feels. Breathe and take a moment to m journal your feelings. Don’t be in a rush to do the next thing. To the aunties or godmothers, who show up for every event, you deserve a break, too! To the sister friend, who longs to be called mom, I pray for your heart today, but especially this weekend. She never gave in to thoughts of quitting.
