Yes, sister friend, we did it! We have taken the time to spend every day of January encouraging our hearts. I pray that you would find the courage to keep encouraging your heart. You can’t expect others to do what you won’t do for yourself. 

Today, on the last day, I came to remind you that you are LOVED! If you have been following me for a while you know I always end my post with, “Always remember that you are loved!” Even the woman you admire still has struggles. I always want you to know that you are not only loved by me but most importantly you are loved by God! 

Even when you showed up made up, but broken inside. Even when you showed up smiling, only to leave the event and cry again. Even when he broke your heart. Even when you felt like you couldn’t take another step. Even when life seemed oh so hard. Even when you felt like the Lord didn’t hear your prayers or your cries. Sis, God loves you without fail and without perfection. 

Today, walk knowing that your Heavenly Father loves you. He allows the sunshine to hit our beautiful faces to remind us of His love. When it’s midnight, He is there to comfort your heart. He never sleeps nor slumbers. Sis, He is always on guard. I need you to get this in your heart. I need you to show up like God loves you. I need you to walk like God loves you. I need you to pray like God loves you.

It’s Sunday morning! As you prepare your heart for worship this morning, believe there is more for you to do. Listen, your “yes” is going to bless those you come in contact with. The smile you carry, the love you show, the prayers you pray, the hand you hold, the head that leans on your shoulder, it’s all a blessing to those you connect with. Sis, there is more for you to do. You think you are still alive just because. No ma’am! The car accident didn’t take you out. The heartbreak didn’t stop you. The misstep didn’t stop destiny. Sis, there is still more for you to do. Remember, someone, is awaiting your “yes!” Wake up everyday believing there is so much more for you to do.

Listen, yesterday is the past. You can’t change what happened yesterday, all you have to do is be concerned about your future. You are destined to do some absolutely amazing things. I need you to be forward-focused. I need you to know that your future will be absolutely amazing. I need you to remember that your steps are ordered. I need you to be excited about your future. Sis, God is going to use your life, your past, and even your current for amazing things! See yourself in the future! Sis, I can’t be more excited for your future than you! Even in your latter years, it’s going to be big and amazing!

Sis, you can do it! I don’t care what they said, but you can do it. I don’t know who told you it couldn’t be done, but you can do it. Listen, there will always be a naysayer. But a naysayer’s purpose is to keep you distracted. Listen, no one person ever moved forward while being distracted. Clear your thoughts, move forward, believe in yourself, and remember that you can do it!

Happy Tuesday! Unfortunately, disappointment is part of the journey. I know you thought you were moving in the right direction or the right relationship. Then, disappointment met you head-on. Sis, the disappointment allowed you to pause long enough and learn the lesson. There is a lesson in everything we endure or face, even in disappointment. I need you to learn the lesson, take notes, and move forward.

Happy Sunday! Whether the progress is small or big, don't stop. Don’t allow what you see as a setback. Continue to do the work necessary to make progress. Every day is a step closer to your goal. No matter how minimal or enormous the progress is, just keep going! You can’t make progress standing still. You can’t make progress looking back. Sis, just keep making the necessary adjustments to move forward!
