Are you a peacemaker?
Happy Friday! I pray that your week has been as amazing as you are. Are you known to spread peace or chaos? Will you be known as a child of God? Sis, today I pray that you choose to be a peacemaker. I pray that you choose to show up peacefully in every way and every day. I pray that even during the chaos, you will choose to be known as a peacemaker. I’d rather be known as one who is peaceful and not one who is always involved in messy and chaotic situations. My sister, choose peace! Be amazing on purpose today and always remember that you are loved! Until Monday…Lady T

Girl, hang in there!
Happy Wednesday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Today, I want you to hang on in there. Sis, it will get better. I believe it and I need you to believe it. It’s so easy to give up. It’s so easy to think that better will never come. Sis, I came to encourage your heart and remind you that God is with you. He is hanging in there with you in it all. Let Him fight for you. Let him defend you. Your job is to keep waking up and believing. I know that it’s not always easy. I know the journey can be tough some days. Even on what you think is your worst day, hang on in there. Sis, it has no other choice but to get better. Be amazing today on purpose and always remember that you are loved! Lady T Note to self…
Happy Monday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Just in case you lost yourself on the journey! It’s never too late to discover you again, love you again, and take care of you again! I know in this season you have taken care of your husband, your kids, your parents, your extended family, and so much more. You’ve placed everyone else needs before your own. Don’t forget to invest in yourself like you invest in others. Don’t forget to discover the woman that you are again. Don’t forget to discover who you are even in this part go the journey, don’t forget it’s okay to love again even after a broken heart, and don’t forget to take care of yourself again. So much joy and peace comes from putting you first. Sis, in this season just relax and enjoy where you are in the journey. It’s never too late to try new things, enjoy new hobbies, meet new people, travel the world, laugh again, love again, trust again, and continue to be the woman that God has called you to be. Just in case you don’t recognize the woman in the mirror, it’s time to put her first again. Be amazing on purpose this week and always remember that you are loved. Until Wednesday….Lady T Sis, you are worthy to be honored. You have been working hard. You have shown up for your family. You are an amazing mom and a great wife. You continue to do your part to make home easy and peaceful. Your husband loves you for that and your kids appreciate you for that. You are worthy to take a break this weekend. You have worked hard to ensure that everyone is taken care of. This weekend I need you to do it for you. Your hands have displayed your great work for your family and those close to you. You are worthy to be honored, loved, and appreciated. Take time for yourself. Rest, breathe, relax, because you are deserving of it and so much more. Be amazing on purpose and always remember that you are loved! Until Monday…Lady T
Imperfect, but still loved by Him!
Happy Wednesday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Today, walk with confidence knowing that you are an imperfect woman, loved by a perfect Father. He knows you have made mistakes and will continue to make mistakes. The most amazing part of your story and my story is that He still loves us. Your imperfections will not keep Him away. Your off days will not keep Him away. Your tears will not keep Him away. Your brokenness will not keep Him away. In all and through it all, He still loves you. If you are wondering who I am speaking of today, it’s the love of God. His love keeps me grounded and humble. His love reminds me of the sacrifice of Calvary. His love cannot be compared to any. Sis, today, you have no reason to walk around feeling unloved. Even in the guilt, shame, and imperfections, God still loves you. Your imperfection is not a factor in His love for you. Be amazing today on purpose and always remember that you are loved. Until Friday… Lady T Girl, wake up, it’s Monday morning. It’s a new week filled with endless opportunities, more grace, more mercy, more happiness, more peace, more joy, more love, and life itself. Remember, the way you handle people matters. The way you speak to people matters. The way you handle situations matters. The way you love matters. The way you show up for life matters. People will never forget how you made them feel. Remember to be careful how you handle those you meet and greet. Remember it doesn’t cost you anything to smile. Make sure the light that you carry shines brightly to encourage someone’s heart and not discourage someone’s heart. People will forgive you, but will never forget how you handled them. Be amazing on purpose and always remember that you are loved. Until Wednesday….Lady T
Sis, BE STILL! Stop trying to do it on your own. Stop trying to figure it out. Trust that God knows. Trust that God sees. Trust that God has never lost a battle. Trust that God’s timing is perfect. Trust that God is working out what you are trying to figure out. The message is short and simple today. Sis, BE STILL, and let God be God. Trust His will for your life and always remember that you are loved! Until Monday….Lady T
Friend, permit yourself to weep....
You have been trying to keep it together long enough. Weep for when you laughed to keep from crying; Weep for when you smiled and were screaming on the inside; Weep when life took an unexpected detour; Weep for having your heart broken; Weep for the little girl who still feels all alone; Weep for past failures; Weep for always having to be the strong one; Weep for absent parents; Weep for those who said hurtful things to you and about you; Weep for those whom you loved the most, hurt you the most; Weep for those who called you different; Weep even when you were misunderstood. Friend, it’s okay to weep and get it out. After you have wept about life, what will you do next? You will look at yourself in the mirror and realize with God all things all possible. You will realize that God turned your mess into a message. You will realize no test, no testimony. You will realize that all things work together for the good who are called according to his purpose. You will realize that your past will not define your future. You will realize your future looks promising and bright. You will realize what you thought would break you and make you stronger. Sis, walk in your healing and wholeness. Be amazing on purpose and always remember that you are loved! Until Friday……Lady T Happy Monday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Today is September 11th! Sis, there is still time. There is still time to start the book, go back to school, start a business, change careers, try love again, and live the life that was promised to you. We all make excuses as to why we can’t do things, and I am included in the “we.” We procrastinate and then become frustrated and stuck where we are. Sis, it’s up to you. No one can make you take the next step. No one can force you to do what makes your heart smile. It’s time to stop the excuses and it’s time to walk in the purpose. Don’t put off tomorrow what you can do today. The next moment is not promised to any of us. Be amazing on purpose today and always remember that you are loved. Until Wednesday…..Lady T
Happy Friday! I pray that your day is odd to a great start! Journeying through the book of Joshua, I have noticed the repeated words, “Don't be afraid or discouraged.” There is purpose in God repeatedly telling Joshua this. Because every time God gave Joshua instructions He spoke this word to him. If God continues to speak this to Joshua, surely he wants us to be encouraged by those words.
Doing God’s will can be uncomfortable because we often doubt ourselves. However, most of us are afraid. Listen, I just know God doesn’t want us to be afraid or discouraged. So, whatever God told you to do, DO IT! Joshua heard from God and followed each instruction given unto Him. Don’t allow fear and discouragement to prevent you from doing God’s will. The word was not only laid in the foundation for Joshua but for us to find encouragement and inspiration from the scriptures. Remember, don’t be afraid or discouraged. Always remember that you are loved! Until Monday…Lady T |
