 Girl, get up! It’s Thankful Thursday! As I reflect on the years of motherhood, I have grown to understand that our presence outweighs a gift any day. So many times we get caught up in providing for them what we didn’t receive as a child. But, what matters most in this season is our presence. Whether your kids are young or old, your presence matters. Whether you worked all day or stayed up all night, they still need to see your face at the football game, basketball game, cheerleading event, volleyball game, or whatever sport/activity they are interested in. They may not be the best on the team, but they need to see your smile and hear your voice from the stands. Sis, take the pressure off yourself. Your presence is a gift. Make sure you love them, show up for them, encourage them, and be their greatest cheerleader. The gifts you buy can deteriorate, but your presence will be a gift ever etched in their memory. May your day be filled with sweet reminders that the gift of motherhood can be challenging and rewarding all at the same time. Always remember that you are loved! Lady T🩷

Today, focus on those who appreciate who you are; what you bring to the table; and how you impact their lives. It gets easy to focus on who doesn’t like us or what they say about us. Sis, we don’t have time to focus on the negativity. We don’t have time to worry about them. Sis, focus on those who love you, celebrate you, encourage you, pray for you, and believe in you. No one ever moves forward looking behind or focused on the distractions on the side. Sis, there is too much for you to do. There is too much that your family needs from you than to show up worried about people. Sis, be free today, keep moving, and don’t focus on the distractions, but focus on those who have your back.  Happy Friday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Today, don’t allow the pain of yesterday or today distract the purpose for your life. Sis, I know the pain allows you the attention of sympathy from others. I know it’s easier to dwell there. Sis, I need you to heal. I need you to heal for yourself, those you are surrounded by, but most importantly your family specifically your husband and children. Don’t allow the pains of this world to prevent you from encouraging the next woman. Don’t allow the pains of life to keep you in a holding pattern. Sis, God has purposed your life to do great things. But, sometimes the hang ups of life causes us to become stagnant. Sis, they need the healed version of you. They need the purposeful version of you. Sis, the world needs your “YES.” Today, don’t focus on the pain, focus on purpose. May your day be filled with sweet reminders that your life is purposed. Always remember you are loved.  Girl, wake up it’s Winning Wednesday! Do you feel like the storms keep raging? Do you feel like you are drowning? Do you feel like every time you stand up another wave knocks you back down? Have you seen more tears than smiles lately? Have you looked in the mirror and didn’t like who was looking back at you? Sis, the hardest part of the storm is waiting for the storm to pass over. There are times when the storm moves at a fast pace. Then, there are times when the storm is moving slowly and hovering. In the midst of it all, God is walking with you through it all. I know it feels like the umbrella just broke and it’s pouring. Sis, even in the pouring, God is restoring. Your job is to stand still and watch God move on your behalf.
Has He ever failed you? Has He ever left you all alone? Has He ever vacated when the rain increased? Has He left you uncovered and completely in dismay? I think that would be a NO to all those questions. Sis, rejoice because you don’t have to do it alone. Rejoice because God loves you. Rejoice knowing it’s all going to work out. Rejoice knowing is for your good and for your testimony. Be encouraged to keep standing even in the downpour. Always remember that you are loved. Until Friday….Lady T🩷I  Happy Monday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. I came to remind you that, “it’s up to you!” It’s up to you to make the next move. It’s up to you to be better and do better. It’s up to you to live the life that you deserve. It’s up to you to keep showing up and never give up. It’s up to you to go back to school; start the business; write the book; start the blog; launch the podcast and so much more. So after reading this, what are you waiting on? What excuse or reason do you have for not starting? Sis, I am talking to you like I am talking to me. We procrastinate; make excuses; and live life with regret. Sis, you don’t owe anyone any explanation. Don’t allow fear to paralyze you from making your life better. Let’s go! Why? Because there is still work for us to do and life to live.  Happy Friday! I pray that your week has been simply amazing. Have you ever had to deal with transition? How did you feel? Were you anxious? Were you nervous? Did you trust God through it all? Sis, I have come to realize that transition is not easy, but it’s sometimes necessary. The fear of transition can stagnant growth. The fear of transition will keep us hostage to our now and never propel us to our next. Sis, don’t be afraid, and don’t be fearful. Allow God to walk with you through it all. Trust me the transition is necessary. Embrace the transition and the journey. It’s all part of your story and journey! I don’t know why you are heartbroken. I don’t know why the tears are falling. Sis, be encouraged and know it’s going to work out. Life is filled with so much joy and sorrow. Life is filled with valley and mountaintop experiences. Sis, choose to hold on and believe it's all going to work out. Don't fix your eyes on what is occurring, but fix your eyes on the One who can help you. The One who never lets you down. The One who is always there. The One who promised to never leave nor forsake you. The One who does all things well. The One who has history with you. The One who loves unconditionally and never fails you and me.
