Believe in you when no one else does and show up for you when no one else does. You deserve every good thing that life has to offer. You deserve to be happy. You deserve to live your best life. Happy Friday! Girl, why are you afraid? Do you realize how valued you are by God? If God takes care of the sparrows, then surely, He can and He will take care of you. You have no reason to be afraid or worry. You should be confident in God’s ability to take care of you. He wants to take care of you because He values your life. You are so valuable and so loved by Him. So today, when you hear the birds chirping, just know He is taking care of them like He desires to take care of you. You are valued by the only one who knew you would mess up and still sent His only begotten son to Calvary just for you. While we were yet sinners, Jesus died for me and you! Never forget that you are valued by the one who provides for you every day. No matter what you believe about yourself today, don’t forget that you are valued by God! Happy Wednesday! My sister and my friend, what are you carrying in your heart? What story are you holding onto? What is your heart posture? What if the pain is so great that you can’t even function? What happens when your heart is so heavy from the weights that you have been carrying? It’s time to release whatever is troubling your heart. Psalms 34:18 reminds us that, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

My sister, God knows the issues you carry hidden in your heart. He knows the nights you pour out your heart to Him. He heard every cry and has seen every tear. He wants to heal your heart. You know the heart issues. The one that took the breath from you momentarily. The heart issue that you asked God, “why me?” The heart issue that is buried beneath the surface that only God knows and seed.

God wants to heal you. Will you allow Him to do heart surgery on you today? Will you release the heart issues that are so easy to keep hidden? Will you release the hurt and pain? Will you cry out to God? God is the only one that can truly heal and mend your heart back together. The stony heart needs to beat again and love again. Ezekiel 36:26 reminds us that, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”

Allow God to work on your heart. Yes, I know it hurts. Yes, it feels so much easier to give up. Yes, you want to love wholeheartedly again. Yes, you want to trust again. I pray that you would sit and have a talk with God. Allow Him to mend only what He can and heal what only He can heal. Believe me, I am talking about what I know not something I have witnessed others endure. The amazing thing about our God is that He is there ready and willing, but you have to be ready to deal with the issues of your heart. Have an amazing day and always remember that you are loved! Happy Friday! I am sure you had your life all planned. By a certain age you would be finished with college, married with kids, successful in a certain career, purchased a house and so much more. Are these your plans or God’s plans? Many times, we plan our entire life, but we never think about the hiccups, the mistakes, the detours and just life itself. When will you realize who is in control of your life? When will you realize that God wants to order your steps? For the individual who has to be in control of everything, I know it’s uncomfortable and it can even be fearful. Remember that God’s plans are greater than your plans. Know that God’s plan is always better. Why? Because God can see what we cannot see. God knows what will occur in the future. While you are planning your steps, God wants to be your compass. I came to remind you that God has equipped you with everything you need to succeed. You must believe and stop doubting yourself. You are your own worst critic! Happy Friday! Who do you put your confidence in? Is it God or is it man? Have you been disappointed by people? I came to remind you that it is better to trust in the Lord, than to put your confidence in man. People are like the wind. Some people deal with you only when they want or need something from you. I don’t know about you, but I have been disappointed by people, simply because I placed my confidence in them. Guess what?  People are like you and me. We can disappear when we don’t want to be bothered with anyone. But I do know that God is trustworthy. If He said it, then you can believe that it will come to pass. Stop placing your trust in people and start placing ALL of your trust in God. He won’t fail you; He won’t walk away and His promises are yes and amen! ​In The Midst….
In the midst of my mess, God used it for my message;
In the midst of my test, God used it for my testimony;
In the midst of my sickness, God healed my body;
In the midst of what they thought would be a barren womb, God blessed me with amazing kids;
In the midst of my tears, God exchanged it for joy;
In the midst of my confusion, God exchanged it for peace;
In the midst of my broken heart, God mended it back together again;
In the midst of my loneliness, God reassured me that He would be a friend like no other;
In the midst of my grief, God was my comforter;
In the midst of my tiredness, God renewed my strength;
In the midst of my stuff, God extended His grace and mercy;
In the midst of my misstep; God was my direction;
In the midst of my valley experience, God allowed me to stand on the mountaintop;
In the midst of my rejection; God reassured me that I was loved;
In the midst of my carelessness, God was my protection;
In the midst of my bowed down head, God was the very lifter of my head;
In the midst of my unfaithfulness, God has continued to be faithful;
In the midst of my negative thoughts, God reminded me that I am fearfully and wonderfully;
In the midst of it all, God was walking with me.
My sister and my friend, God has been there through it all. As the songwriter would say, “through it all; through it all; I’ve learned to trust in Jesus; I’ve learned to trust in God; through it all; through it all, I’ve learned to depend upon His word.” He has never left you alone, never walked away, never gave up on you and HE NEVER WILL.  So, I encourage you today to reflect and remember, “in the midst moments.” In the midst of every part of your life, God has been right there with you. Happy Monday! I don’t know what you have faced, are currently facing or will face. I came to remind you this morning that God is fighting for you. I know you tired because you are fighting with your own strength. If you continue to do this, you will continue to be tired and overwhelmed.
