Happy Friday! We pressed our way through another week and tomorrow is October 1st! I am grateful that God’s comfort brought me joy, in the midst of my anxiety. Anxiety can stifle us as individuals and stunt our growth. When panic was upon me, it was God’s comfort that brought me joy. When I was overwhelmed by life, it was God’s comfort that brought me joy. Grateful for joy that only comes from God! No matter the time of day or night, it was unspeakable joy. No matter what happens or how it feels, I can always count on unspeakable joy that will soothe my doubts and calms my fears. Today, I encourage you to be free from your anxieties and tap into the unspeakable joy that only comes from God! May your weekend be filled with joy and may the peace of God calm your anxieties. Happy Wednesday! How many times have you shown up for your husband? How many times has he wanted to show up for you and you wouldn’t allow him to? Listen, I know the world we live in encourages us as women to be strong and independent. I know you are a boss in your own world. But, sis, allow him to be proud of you. Allow him to cover you in prayer. Allow him to love you and that means showing up for you. The longer you are married you will realize that material things are nice, but your spouse presence is worth more than things. See things can be replaced, but his love and support for you cannot. Allow him to be your greatest cheerleader. Allow him to be proud to be your husband. I don’t care what this world shows you. I do know that it gives him a sense of pride, when you allow this to take place. Today, allow him to love you, support you, encourage you, clap for you, pray for you, but most of all show up for you. It’s not a burden for him, but an honor for him to do so. May your week be filled with moments where you allow your husband to show up for you. Sis, you don’t have to be in control of the narrative. Happy Monday! It’s the start of a new week! Today, I want to remind you when everyone else gave up on you, God never did! You cried. You were broken-hearted. You had more questions than answers. But to know that no matter how many times we mess up, God is still riding with us through it all. He could have walk away like everyone else, but He didn’t. He loves you that much. So as much as you feel defeated, you can still get up because you know that God won’t leave. He won’t walk away. Most importantly, He won’t give up on you. My sister and my friend, be encouraged. Hang on in there! There is reassurance about life because God will never give up on us. No matter what you did or what it looks like. Happy Wednesday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Listen, don’t allow your assignment to expire because you told yourself it needs to be approved by others. If God gave it to you, then the vision has His stamp of approval. What assignment are you sitting on? Because you thought you needed a crowd. You don’t need a crowd. If one life is impacted, then you have done what was required of you. Who told you that a large following was necessary? Who told you that impact was based on numbers? Who told you that everyone would love what you are doing? Some are fulfilled by the platform, but I fill fulfilled by the one. The songwriter says, if I could help somebody along the way. Sis, your assignment is greater than your following. If you continue to do the work of the Lord, you will see the fruits of your labor. Keep impacting one individual at a time. No approval or large following is needed. May your day be filled with sweet reminders of the impact you are making, one individual at a time. Always remember that you are loved! Happy Monday! How many times have you silenced what God has given you to say? How many times have you wondered does my words matters? How many times have you struggled with finding your voice? Not the voice of someone else, but your voice. Listen, when will you wake up and realize no one silenced your voice, but you. When you realize that your words will impact others? When will you realize your voice has power? Believe me, I know what it feels like to silence your own voice. I know what it feels like to wonder when will God release to me to your will. The surprising part is that God was waiting on me this entire time. Don’t silence your own voice and don’t let others silence your voice. Your words have power. Your words encourage the hearts of so many. Sis, take a deep breath, breathe, don’t be afraid, and speak words of life to others. Your voice has purpose in this season. ​Happy Saturday! Listen, I know you have looked in the mirror complaining about the current version of yourself versus the previous version of yourself. Listen, you are beautiful! Whether petite, curvy, or voluptuous, stop telling yourself what you need to do to feel worthy enough to be loved and seen. I am not saying that you don’t need to exercise, but what I am saying if you go above and beyond to be seen, to be loved, and to feel worthy, it’s for the wrong reason. Today, look yourself in the mirror and be so in love with your reflection. It’s okay to exercise as long as it is for the right reasons.  It’s okay to want to live a healthier lifestyle. Just check your why! Girl, don’t allow the world to dictate how you show up, how you love yourself, but most of all how you see yourself!
