 Happy Monday! I pray that your day is off to a great start! Today, I need you to do me a favor. I need you to check in on the ones you call friends. I need you to just send a word of encouragement. I need you to brighten their day. I need you to share your smile. So many women show up, made up, and are hanging on by a thread. There are so many of us who shout on Sunday and cry on the way home after church. Sis, you don’t have to be strong. The journey gets weary sometimes and life can be overwhelming.
Your text will let her know that you hear her, see her, love her, and are concerned about her wellbeing. Sis, you are not alone. Sis, you will get through this season. Sis, life will get better. What if it does work out for your good and His glory?What if your heartbreak can be healed? What if you can move forward after what you thought would take you under? What if God can truly deliver you from the bondage of your past? What if it will get better? What if you give up too soon and miss the breakthrough? What if God redirects you to greater? What if God closes the door for your protection? What if you can trust again? What if you can love again? What if your life will get easier? What if they laugh and keep whispering? What if your joy in the morning is on its way? Sis, how many times have you questioned yourself with the what-ifs of life? I know even on what feels like your worst day, God can do the impossible. God can do exceedingly, abundantly, above all you could ever ask or think. I pray that you know who God is in your life. I pray that you will trust Him even more. I pray that you will seek Him even more. I pray that you will allow Him to lead you and guide you. Sis, it’s all going to work out. Even if you have to do it afraid, do it. The biggest part is taking the first step. Sis, I believe in you, but I need you to believe in yourself. Believe that you can do it, no matter what you are faced with. Don’t be afraid to fail. The person who never takes the first step will always be left wondering.  Dear God, Today, I pray for my sister who is afraid to let go. I pray that you will give her the strength to let go of people, places, and things that hinder her from moving forward in you. Allow her to be bold and courageous. When she closes the door, don’t allow her to look back. Allow her to remember that you make all things new.
Allow her to move forward in the things you have for her. Allow her to be reminded of Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Before she moves forward allow her to remember that you will be with her very step of the way. Allow her to be reminded of Jeremiah 29:11-13, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” I pray that she will find the strength to let go. I pray that you wil give her peace in letting go. God, please continue to keep her, protect her, love her, hear her, and wipe her tears. Let her be reminded of the big plans that you have for her life. Don’t allow her to settle for what you never designed for her. Be with her every step of the way. In Jesus Name, Amen. Allow your uniqueness and creativity to shine through wherever you go. No matter what it looks or feels like, sis, just don’t lose the sparkle. Don’t lose the things that make you beautiful inside and out. Don’t allow situations to dim your sparkle. Don’t allow places and things to dim your sparkle. Sis, you are sparkling bright like your favorite sparkly dress. Every girl loves just a little or a lot of sparkle. It’s the girl inside of us. It’s the light within us that causes us to shine so brightly. Sis, no matter what the world needs your sparkle. No matter what you tell yourself, the world needs your sparkle.  Girl, wake up, it’s Monday. It’s going to be an amazing week! Listen, it’s time to start living. You have been delayed long enough. You have lived a life that has pleased everyone else. You have cried. You have been heartbroken. You have had more questions than answers. You have wondered if the journey would get better. You have one bump on the journey after the next. You have wanted to give up. But, sis, today, it’s time to start living. It’s time to live the life God intended for you to live. It’s time to say no to what hinders you and say yes to what propels you. No time for excuses, but it’s time to value what you bring to the journey.
Sis, I need you to start living. Life is filled with swift transitions. If they told you today, you had so many days remaining. Have you lived a life that you would be proud of? Have you accomplished every goal and dream? Today, it’s up to you to take the first step and live a life that you would be pleased with! May your week be filled with love and joy. Please keep and strengthen my sister friend who is on the verge of giving up. Don’t allow her to give up too soon. Wipe her tears and calm her fears. Be with her every step of the way. Remind that she is never alone. Let her never forget that on what she feels like is her worst day that you are with her, that you see her, that you hear her, and that you love her. Listen, I know you are tired of doing good things for people and you don’t get the same in return. I know they broke your heart. I know you said I’ll never do it again to be hurt again. Sis, keep doing good. Don’t let one bad apple spoil the bunch. Don’t allow what she did to keep you from creating new friendships. Don't allow what they did to destroy your ability to trust again. Believe me, I know it hurts. Yep, I have been where you have been. You showed up for her. You encouraged her. You prayed with her. You cried with her. Only for her to hurt you in the end. Listen, sis, give it and her to God and keep doing good. Don’t let what they did prevent you from moving forward. Sis, friendship is good. Friendship is beautiful. My husband always says friendships are for a season, a reason, or a lifetime. Sis, I just need you to know the difference.
As women, we should be uplifting and encouraging one another. We should be praying for one another. We should be our sister’s loudest cheerleader. Listen, don’t let what they did keep you from doing good. There are still some good women in this world who would love to pray with you, encourage you, support you, laugh with you, cry with you, and uphold confidentiality.
