 Happy Wednesday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. If you are dealing with Hurricane Idalia, I pray that you are safe. The rejection that broke you was part of the plan. Listen, what you are crying about today, you will be able to laugh about soon. I know your world was shaken. I know you wanted to give up. I know you said this will never happen to me. But what you called rejection was actually God’s protection.
You thought it was over. But it was God’s way of saying, “Daughter, just trust me!” I would rather trust the One who is always looking out for me, than trust man’s plans. God's ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Just know the rejection was God’s extended warranty of protecting His will and His purpose for your life.  Happy Monday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Sis, it’s too heavy for you to carry. It was never designed for you to carry. I know you thought you could handle it. It’s beyond your weight capacity. It’s time to allow God to be God. It’s time to fully surrender the “IT” to God. I promise you will feel lighter when you turn it over to the heavy load bearer. God wants you to cast ALL your cares upon Him. Guess what? You will not hear it again and He won’t keep reminding you of what He did for you. Sis, it’s time. Sis, surround yourself with a tribe of women who encourage each other. Surround yourself with women who will speak to your character and integrity. Surround yourself with women who will correct you in love. Surround yourself with women who will cry with you, pray for you, and hold your hand through it all. Y’all, we all need sister friends. We all need a tribe of women who will show up and be genuinely excited for your NEXT!
Sis, when you find the circle, hold on to them. Life is precious and short. We all need a sister-friend to walk this journey with.  Happy Wednesday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Sis, you were offended or you offended someone else. The problem is you are both too stubborn to ask for forgiveness or give an apology. Listen, misunderstandings can be resolved with one conversation. The issue with us as women is when we involve other parties who give one-sided advice. If I am only hearing your side, of course, I will stand for you. Instead of trying to give one-sided advice, send her back to the person whom she offended or who offended her. Additional involvement creates unnecessary drama and judgment. Today, who do you need to speak with? Who do you need to apologize to? Who do you need to resolve unnecessary tension with?
Yes, you were offended, but yes you offended someone too. The Bible tells us that if we have an issue with our sister or brother, to go to them. But, I always tell others if there are unresolved issues, please do it in love. I know sometimes it’s easier said than done. But today, will you put your feeling aside to acquire the healing that you need to move forward? Listen, life is too short and filled with transition. We can be here today and gone tomorrow.
