​Do Not Fear Nor Be Afraid! 
Happy Friday! Are you fearful? Are you afraid? Do you feel like God has left you all alone? I came to encourage your heart this morning. This is your friendly reminder to be strong, courageous and do not fear nor be afraid. Why? Because God is the one who goes with you and God will never leave nor forsake you. You have no reason to do life scared or afraid. I know your negative thoughts try to overtake you. I know what fear can do to you. I know what it feels like to be afraid. Remember that God is right there with you in the midst of it all. If God made a promise, then HE is faithful to fulfill the promise made. You have to do your part and allow HIM to do HIS part. My sister and friend, it is time to enjoy the life that God has allowed you to live without being fearful or afraid. Have an amazing weekend and always remember that you are loved! ​Your Perfect Life....
Most of us desire to have and live the perfect life. Have you realized that no one’s life is perfect? Portraying perfection can be dangerous. We should be more concerned about living a life that is designed by God and pleasing unto HIM. We should be more concerned with allowing God to lead and direct us. Yes, you will fall along the way. Yes, you will make mistakes along the way. Yes, you will bump your head along the way. Yes, you will run into road blocks along the way. Yes, you will have to make hard decisions. Strive for a life designed by God instead of perfection. Perfection will cause you to become frustrated. Perfection will cause you to measure your life against the lives of others. Perfection will always cause you to crave more. Perfection will make you think you have to always be on ten even when you are on one. Perfection will make you seek spotlight. Perfection will control your every move. I pray that you would live a life fulfilled by purpose instead of living a life of perfection. Have an amazing day and always remember that you are loved! Beautiful....
When was the last time you looked in the mirror and said this girl is absolutely beautiful? When was the last time you tried on a dress in the dressing room, twirled, smiled and said this girl is absolutely beautiful? We live in a world where we measure our beauty by the world’s standard. Do you realize that most photos are photoshopped to remove cellulite, stretch marks, scars and so much more? Be your own kind of beautiful! Even the smallest person has to deal with stretch marks and it is seen by the world. Yes, the marks remind us that life happens. The marks show we have carried babies; made it through surgeries; over ate because of a broken heart; partied a little too much; had some falls in life, etc.

Don’t define your beauty by world’s standards because those images are not real anyway. So, what if your hair is natural and kinky; so, what if your hair is long or short; so, what if you have cellulite on your thighs; so, what if you have stretch marks on your buttocks and so what your varicose veins are shining through. Don’t allow yourself or others to compare your body to others your age or younger.  Beauty must start on the inside first, then shine on the outside. Create your own definition of beauty. Even the most beautiful person still struggles with seeing their own beauty. We were created in HIS image and HIS likeness. God never intended for all of us to look alike. Happy Monday! I want you to know and believe there is so much greatness inside of you. There are ideas, dreams and goals unfulfilled in your life. You have allowed life to prevent you from believing. You have so much inside of you that has not even come to the surface yet. If you are never on a stage, if you never appear on the worldwide web, if your name is never called, if you don’t have a position or title that brings you spotlight, please remember you have so much greatness inside of you. You don’t have to be well known to be great. You don’t have to need a platform to be great. Some crave spotlight, but you should crave greatness. If you crave spotlight and never receive it, that could create problems within you. However, greatness allows you to be comfortable with where God has planted you. Girl, allow your greatness to shine through!

​​Do You Trust HIM?

Trusting God seems so easy when all is well. But, can you trust God when everything seems to be going awry? The word encourages us to trust in the Lord with all our heart. I know man has disappointed you, hurt you, abandoned you, neglected you, mistreated you, wounded you and disregarded you, but will you trust God with your whole heart. God does not want to hurt your heart, but wants to protect your heart. HE needs you to trust and believe that HE can and HE will work it out on your behalf. I pray that you would learn to trust with everything and through anything. As a little girl going to church, I can hear the older saints singing, “I will trust in the Lord, I will trust in the Lord until I die....” Those words feel different when you have actually trusted God with everything and allow HIM to work it out on your behalf. Happy Monday! I want to remind you there is only one you. There will never be another like you who will walk this earth. Simply put, “there will never be another you!” Be okay with how God created you. Be comfortable in the skin you are in. Many of us live our lives comparing ourselves to others constantly. We are never satisfied with how we look and always wanting more. Stop comparing yourself to others! Yes, you may not have all the curves you want. Yes, you may want length to your hair. Yes, you may be struggling with your natural hair. You are looking for things to complete you, instead of being comfortable with how God made you. Make sure the weight loss is for a better you. Make sure how you show up life is for a better you. Make sure the smile you carry is authentic. Make sure the clothes you wear are an expression of your style and grace. The Wait......
Have you ever had to wait? The message is simple today! Those who wait on the Lord, HE shall renew your strength; you will mount up on wings like eagles; you will run and not be weary and walk and not faint. I know waiting seems hard, but the wait is part of the process. I know you feel weak and faint, but the scripture encourages our hearts to keep enduring the race of life. No, the journey will not always be easy and yes there will be days when you want to throw in the towel. When you wait on the Lord, it will be worth your wait. HIS timing and HIS will are always perfect. Be encouraged and allow this scripture to minister to your heart and your situation! Believe me waiting is not always easy to do when your heart is hurting, broken and you don’t understand HIS plan! Trust the Lord’s timing and process.
