​You Are Loved....

My Dearest Friend, 
I want to encourage your heart this morning and remind you that you are so loved! I pray that you would know and always remember how loved you are. Most of your life you have been searching for love and trying to fill voids. You wanted to fit in with everyone not realizing that God had created you to stand out. You were desperate for love that you chose to allow others to do and say whatever. You were lonely and allowed various people to be disrespectful to you. You sacrificed so many dreams and goals because you didn’t want to face life alone. You have gone places where you should not have. You have done things you should not have. You have been caught up in conversation that you knew could be detrimental to you. You just needed to be loved.

You looked at your age and convinced yourself that your clock was ticking. Never realizing there was purpose in God’s timing and waiting. You allowed family members to make you feel insecure about life. Your insecurities showed up most days. However, you covered it with makeup, an amazing outfit, heels and a cute handbag. You kept moving because you thought it was the right thing to do. Never acknowledging your loneliness and need to feel loved. You were broken and desperate all along only wanting to be loved. You did things for attention, even if they were connected to someone else. You did not care. You just wanted to be loved. You allowed the fear of being alone to overtake your mind and emotions. My sister and friend, I pray for you today. I pray that you would love yourself first. If you don’t love yourself first, you will settle for people, places and things that bring you more harm than good. You are so worthy to be loved. You are so worthy to be treated like the queen you are. You are so worthy to enjoy the goodness of the Lord. You are so worthy to be loved and adored. You are so worthy to live a life that is fulfilled with dreams and purpose. You are so worthy to enjoy the blessings of God.

My sister and friend, it is my prayer that you would realize the perfect love that you are longing for only comes from God. People will let you down. People will never fulfill only what God can. People we love you today and cast you away tomorrow. Some individuals love is only based on conditions. God is the only one that will love you unconditionally. God is the only one that will love you in spite of all your imperfections. God is the only one that promised to never leave nor forsake you. God is the only one that has been walking with you all along. I pray that you would truly recognize and realize that you are loved.  I pray that you would experience what true love looks and feels like. There Is A Little Girl Within......
​There is a little girl within that wants to be healed. There is a little girl within that keeps showing up in your adult life. There is a little girl within that is crying out for help. There is a little girl within that wants to be free. There are so many of us that carry the weight of our childhood into our adulthood. There are so many of us that just want somebody to see us. There are so many of us still hurting from the neglect, the abandonment, the loneliness, the brokenness, the broken heart and all of these things become your limp, your crutch, your story and so much more. It’s time to allow God to heal you from the inside out. There is a broken little girl who needs to be free, so that the adult woman can be healed as well.

​When will you realize that what is hidden will eventually show up in different areas of your life? When it shows up, will you recognize you need help? Will you realize that you can’t do it alone? I pray for the grown woman who still deals with little girl issues. I pray that you would be healed and transformed. I pray that you would see that your unresolved issues from your childhood desires to be healed, because they have become detrimental to your adulthood. I pray that you would not hide the issues, but deal with them with the help of God and even a counselor, if necessary. My friend it’s time for you to be the whole and healed woman that God created you to be.

Happy Monday! Embrace this week with joy! In spite of everything that has occurred or will occur, you deserve to know and experience the fullness of joy! Joy is defined as a feeling of great pleasure or happiness. Choose joy this week! Choose to do what makes you happy this week! Some live a life just existing never enjoying the joy of each day. Every day that you wake up is another opportunity to experience joy! No matter what you are facing; no matter what they said; no matter what is happening, it is my prayer that you would experience the fullness of joy! ​My Friend, Even In Your Suffering God Is There! 
 
Who promised you this journey would be easy? This journey comes with heartaches and pains; ups and downs and mountaintops and valleys. After you have suffered a little while, God will restore you, support you, strengthen you and place you on a firm foundation. It’s part of your journey and your story. Isn’t it just like God to come and see about you? God will restore what you loss; God will support you even when you feel all alone; God will give you a renewed strength to keep moving in the journey; and God will place your feet on a firm foundation. Firm means it is a solid foundation and it cannot be shaken. Girlfriend, God has your front, back and side! God will not let you down! Keep trusting and keep believing! Just Because......
Just because you see me smiling does not mean I don’t cry when life happens. Just because you see me pressing does not mean that I am not overwhelmed. Just because you see me encouraging others does not mean that I don’t need to be encouraged. Just because my life seems perfect does not mean that I don’t face trials and tribulations like the next woman. Just because I walk in the room with confidence does not mean that my insecurities don’t show up with me. Just because I portray to hold it together does not mean I am not breaking on the inside. Just because you do not see me complaining does not mean that I am not fearful of what’s next.
 
Just because you see all these things happening to you, your mother, your sisters, your girlfriends and other women that you know does not mean that life has to end there. We keep pressing because we know who has been with us every step of the way. We choose to be happy. We choose to smile in spite of it all. We choose to wipe our tears and know that God has seen every tear that we shed. We know that God will wipe every tear from our eyes. We choose to believe it will work out for our good in the end. We choose to be optimistic. We choose to hold on to our faith. We choose to believe even when we can’t see that it’s working for our good. We choose to believe the greater is HE that it within us than He that is within the world. We choose to believe the promises of God for our lives. We choose to believe it’s for our good, but for God’s glory. We choose to believe there is purpose in this chapter of our story.
 
My sister and friend, be encouraged! I know for some it’s easy to dress up and appear to have it all together. It’s easy to apply the make-up, the nice dress, heels and not allow the tears to flow. It’s easier to portray an image that could detrimental to our growth. It’s easy to say we are good and still wonder if someone sees us. It’s easy to say we are not worried and still cry ourselves to sleep at night.
 
I pray for the woman today who feels the need to portray the perfect image. I pray for the woman that is more concerned about the public woman instead of the private woman. I pray for the woman who is more concerned about the perfect portraits rather than being concerned about her family. I pray for the women who still struggles with insecurities. I pray for the woman who is looking for love in all the wrong places. I pray for the woman who seeks validation from everyone. I pray for the woman who seeks attention and spotlight. I pray for the woman who feels that she is invisible to all those around her. I pray for the woman who feels the need to be strong.  I pray for the woman who feels like giving up. I pray for the woman who feels like if one more thing happens, she will not make it. I pray for the woman who is worried about her marriage. I pray for the single who longs to be married. I pray for the woman who is trying to be mom and teach the kids at home simultaneously. I pray for the woman who does not like herself in the mirror. I pray for the woman who is still searching for purpose. I pray the woman who is heartbroken. I pray for the woman who is trying to pick up the pieces and move forward. I pray for the woman that has to face a new normal. I pray for the woman who is consumed by shame and guilt. If you identify with any woman above, I pray that God would minister to your hearts today. I pray that you would be still enough to hear HIS voice and obedient enough to do what HE tells you to do. I pray you would realize that God sees you. I pray that you would recognize and realize that you are loved by God. In Jesus Name....Amen
 
We all have situations that we have to deal with. What matters most is how you choose to deal with the situations when life happens? Will you choose to trust God, keep smiling and keep moving? Happy Monday! This is your friendly reminder that your past will not define your future. We allow our past to hold us hostage. We allow our past to prevent us from moving forward in life. We allow our past to rob us of current opportunities. My friend, if you would only believe that God has something greater for you. If you would only allow the past to be that of the past. No, you will never forget your past, but your past will give you a greater appreciation for your present.

​You are more than your mistakes and shortcomings. As a matter of fact, we all have a past, but we choose what part of the story we will share with others. We all have stuff that we had to deal with. We all had to deal with the hand that was given to us. Don’t allow your past cause you the miss the blessings that God has given you now! I pray that you would be free from your past. Don’t allow your past to dim your present! Your future looks bright, if you would only be free from the past! I pray that your day is as amazing as you are! Lady T

My Sister, God is fighting for you!

Why are you trying to fight by your own power? Why are you trying to fight by your own strength? God will fight for you, but you must stay calm. The instruction is clear in HIS word. Allow God to do HIS part, but you must do your part. Your part is simple and that is to stay calm! Has HE failed you before? Man will fail you over and over, but God will not fail you. Man will wound you only for you to go back and be wounded again. Allow God to be God! You are tired because you are fighting by yourself. You are exhausted because you are fighting with your own strength. You are frustrated because the fight is spiritual, and you are trying to handle the fight carnally. My sister and my friend, stay calm and stand still. What is this battle teaching you? What is God trying to show you? Allow God to fight on your behalf!

​Take Care Of “You”......
Do you find yourself more consumed by the affairs of others? Is everyone else a priority but you? Are you tired and overwhelmed from it all? Do you wonder if anyone sees the exhaustion? Well, it’s time to put YOU first. Please take time to take care of YOU!
 
You have been irritable. You have been easily frustrated. You are quick to respond in anger and frustration. You are always guarded. You respond without hearing what the other person is saying to you. You feel like you give your all to everyone, but who is taking care of you? Friend, it’s time to take care of YOU! The physical, spiritual and emotional needs you to be well. It’s time to set aside some time for you.
 
We live in a world where we feed off of praise and appreciation from others. We assume the more we take care of others, the greater the reward will be. We put taking time for us on the backseat. What happens when you are physically, spiritually and emotionally exhausted? Friend, it’s time for a recharge. I know you are a wife, mother, daughter, sister, daughter-in-law, friend, caregiver, mentor and so many things to so many other people, but when will you take time for you?
 
I know what it feels like to be so concerned about taking care of others that you forget about YOU! You deserve a break. You deserve to rest. You deserve to be the beautiful queen that you are. You deserve to be pampered. You must take care of YOU! It’s okay to put YOU first sometimes. I pray for the woman who is reading this and is overwhelmed and consumed by putting others needs before her own. I pray that she would take time to take care of herself today! I pray that she will choose herself today. I pray that she will recognize and realize that she is exhausted and needs rest. I pray that she will realize that she cannot be superwoman. I am certain that even superwoman needed a recharge. I pray that she will find rest for her weary soul. Remember, there is only one YOU and please ensure that she is well taken care of!
