​Happy Monday! It’s time to forgive you for the mistakes that you made and move on. It’s time to rid yourself of the guilt and the shame.  Friend, you can’t continue to live in the past. You can’t continue to sit in that place. You must move forward and trust and know that you are forgiven. Yes, others may know what you did and yes others may remind you of what you did, but keep moving forward. Girlfriend, breathe and forgive yourself. You have so much living to do, but you keep allowing you from moving forward. I encourage you today to walk in the freedom and forgiveness that has been provided to you by God. Happy Friday! We all have been down the path of extending forgiveness or in need of others forgiving us. I know the individual hurt you. I know the individual mistreated you. I know your feel justified in your actions of withholding forgiveness. I know you were upset when you said what you said. What happens when you offend others? What happens when you are in need of forgiveness? When you realize forgiveness is not for the other individual, but for you? When you realize that forgiveness does not make it okay for others to treat you the way they did, but extending forgiveness is the start of the healing process? I am not writing about anything that I have not had to experience myself. The scripture encourages us to be kind, tender hearted and forgiving one another as Christ has forgiven us. It doesn’t cost anything to be kind. It doesn’t cost us anything to be tenderhearted. It doesn’t cost us anything to extend forgiveness. I pray that we will realize that none of us are perfect. Just like we make mistakes, others will make mistakes too. I encourage you today to do the work necessary to move forward. If you need to extend forgiveness or in need of others forgiving you, I pray that you would begin the work to move forward. The next hour, minute or second is not promised. My sister, I know it may be easier said than done, but forgiveness is necessary for growth in the journey of life! Have an amazing weekend and always remember that you are loved! I know that many of us are preparing for the Thanksgiving on Thursday. We have shopped and are ready to prepare a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. However, Thanksgiving this year will be different. The gatherings will be smaller. The food portion will be smaller. The desert table will be smaller. The aroma of food and the laughter of family and friends will not occur like times in the past. We will be taking our parents plates. We will not be able to eat together in large gatherings. Our normal gatherings look very different. However, we can maximize this moment and create new traditions.  

We could eat together albeit via zoom. We can ensure our parents are taken care of, even if we cannot physically be with them in the same house. We can check on them and let them feel the love, even if it is from a distance. We can laugh and reminisce about the good times. We can pray that next year will be different. We can laugh a little louder and appreciate others more. We can ensure that our kids know that they are loved. We can love on and hold our spouses a little longer. We can ensure that even when life happens, we are there for each other.  

We should be even more grateful for each other this year. At someone’s table this year will be an empty seat. That seat is vacant because that individual is no longer there.  I pray for those families who have to deal with loss during this season. It’s so easy to take life for granted and assume that we will always be here with each other. I pray that God would strengthen and comfort them, during this holiday season.  

I encourage you to be thankful and grateful for the family God has blessed you with. I encourage you to check on your parents to ensure they have an amazing dinner in spite of the current status of the world we live in. I encourage you to check on your parents a little more this year, especially if they are elderly and live alone. You may have extended family members and even friends who live alone. Check on them to ensure that have dinner. I pray this season that even if someone lives alone, they will feel the love of family and friends near and far. 

We will get through this, but it’s better to get through this together. I encourage you to use wisdom this holiday season. I pray that you would stay safe and will have a great Thanksgiving. It’s so easy to complain that this season has been hard and our normal traditions have been disrupted. I would encourage you to think outside the box and create new traditions. I would encourage you to be there for someone this Thanksgiving. In a chaotic world, we all need a hand to hold and a shoulder to cry on. Will you be that person in this holiday season? ​Happy Monday! In a world where, we feel unloved and rejected. In a world where, we gave our all only to be wounded. In a world where, we have created safeguards to protect our hearts and are timid about sharing our love. I came to remind you on this beautiful Monday morning, “Girl, you are loved!” I know you are saying, but Lady T I don’t feel loved. I know you are saying, I share my love and it is not reciprocated in the end. I want to assure you that you are loved! You are loved; You are important; You are the world to someone. But what you need to know is that God loves you! You can be assured that HE has always loved you and will continue to love you. HIS love does not change and HIS love is not based on conditions or what you can do for HIM. God’s love is genuine. HE loves you regardless of your mistakes, failures, faults and issues. Even if you wondered this morning, does anyone truly love me? Trust and know that you are loved by God! HE is proud of you; HE sees what you are doing and HE loves you! No need to doubt or wonder, if you are loved. No need to feel like a castaway. No need to walk around with a bowed down head. My friend, please always remember that you are loved!  Happy Monday! Are you still wondering when will it happen? Do you still believe that God can? Girlfriend, I came to encourage your heart today. Don’t ever forget that God is the one who makes all things possible. The marriage, the children, the promotion, the house and so much more are all blessings from God. You must know that yes, your dreams are still possible, when God is placed first in everything that you say and do. Happy Friday! Have you ever had to wait for something? Have you stood all night long in a Black Friday line to wait on one item? What happened when you waited all night long and the store still did not have the item? I am amazed that we will wait for an item all night long, but we are impatient when the Lord does not respond like we want HIM. HIS timing is perfect! HIS will is perfect! Our job is to wait, be courageous and HE will strengthen our hearts. I don’t know what you are waiting on, but I do encourage you to wait on the Lord! The Lord has never let you down before. Instead of rushing the will of God for your life, trust that HE knows what HE is doing! Trust that it will be worth the wait! Have an amazing weekend and always remember that you are loved! Thank you for keeping us; thank you for loving us; thank you for being a great provider; thank you for being a sustainer; thank you for being a healer; thank you for protecting us; thank you for being a friend like none other; thank you for being an encourager; thank you that we can lean and depend on you; thank you that you do all things well; thank you for the small blessings that we overlooked; thank you for the things we wanted and you blocked it because it was not good for us; thank you for the test because it was necessary for our faith; thank you that your will is perfect; thank you that we don’t have to do life alone; thank you for being consistent; thank you for being accountable; thank you for being dependable; thank you that there is no failure in you and most of all thank you for life. So, if we made other things our priority, please forgive us. When we woke up this morning and forgot to say thank you, please forgive us.
