Happy Friday! We made it to the end of another week. I know you are waiting your time and your turn. I know you may be disheartened. I know you see it happening for everyone else and you are wondering, Lord did you forget about me? Sis, God has not forgotten. Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and HE shall strengthen your heart. WAIT ON THE LORD!  Sis, you are carrying purpose. It’s going to be hard and uncomfortable sometimes. Sometimes you may even feel inconvenienced, but I need you to wait. Why? Because it’s going to be bigger than what you ever imagined. The wait brings courage. The wait brings strength. The wait is not for the faint at heart. Active your faith and wait. Stand and wait. Cry if you have to, but wait. I believe God is still going to do it for you. Just remember to pray while waiting. Yes, it didn’t work out like you planned. But, guess what? Today is a new day. Filled with so much potential and so much opportunity. You can get back up again. Sis, don’t stay there. Don’t focus too much on what went wrong. Just be thankful for the opportunity to get back up again. Don’t allow one setback to cause you to fall back. Sis, allow the setback to propel you for an even greater comeback. Girl, it’s time to get back up! Walk with confidence. Walk like God did it for you. Walk like you know you got this. Sis, keep winning; keep smiling; keep shining; keep going; keep praying; keep trusting, and keep believing. You are an amazing woman, wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and so much more. Dear, the world is a better place because of you. Girl, keep waking up and being amazing. ​Happy Monday! I pray that your day is off to a great start. Today, I give you permission to not be okay. Sis, you don’t have to wake up and show up like all is well. You don’t have to show up feeling like you can’t show weakness or be vulnerable. Yes, you don’t always have to show up strong. Sis, sometimes you need permission to let the tears fall. You have been strong for so long, that you keep telling yourself not to feel. 

Sis, I permit you to feel every emotion that you need to. I permit you to rest. I permit you to take really good care of yourself. I permit you to release the weight that you have been carrying. Sis, it’s weighty; it’s too heavy; and it’s too much. It was not designed for you to carry anyway. My sister and my friend, pray, read, journal, seek therapy, and do the necessary work to get back to you. It’s too many of us showing up as healed and still broken. ​Dear God,
Today, I pray for my sister friend who may be overwhelmed by life. I pray that you will give her strength for the journey. I pray that she will not lose heart. I pray for the thing/things that consume her heart and her mind. I pray that whatever it is she will give it to you. I pray against the spirit of anxiety. I pray against the spirit of weariness and giving up. I pray that you will minister to her today. God, allow her to cast her cares upon you. Allow her to find rest in you. Allow her peaceful sleep when she rests tonight. Allow her to know that there is nothing too hard for you. Allow her to know she is seen and heard by the One who cares. Allow her to know there is safety with you. When the spirit of being overwhelming comes in like a flood, God speak to her mind and her heart. Give her sweet rest and peace that only comes for you alone. In Jesus Name, Amen.
