Happy Wednesday! As we come to the close of celebrating women’s history month, I want to remind you that are an amazing woman, and you are still becoming. Yes, you are becoming the best version of yourself. Yes, you are becoming the woman you admired as a little girl. Yes, you are becoming the confident woman that has been afraid to show up in the past. Yes, you are becoming the wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and so much more. I want you to remember that you can do anything. As women, we have made many strides professionally and personally. Girl, you are always in the role of becoming. Know that we are constantly learning and growing. I am so proud of you are and who you are becoming. Never allow life to stop you from becoming. Continue to celebrate you all year long! Why? Because you are worth it and so much more! Please know that I see you and it looks good on you! May your journey be as amazing as you are and always remember that you are loved. Lady T

Happy Monday! I came to remind you that your voice matters. Do not let anyone or anything silence your voice. Your opinions matter, your thoughts matter, but most importantly, your voice matters. People will try to make you feel inferior. People will try to intimidate you. Whether you are degreed or not, your voice matters. Whether you have a big house or not, your voice matters. Whether you are part of the elite group or not, your voice matters. When you allow others to take your voice away, you may spend a lifetime searching or retrieving it back again. Girl, no matter what they told you, say it with me, “My Voice Matters!” Keep shining your light bright and always remember that you are loved! Until Wednesday….Lady T
Dear Ketanji Brown Jackson,
Thank you! Thank you for showing up. Thank you for withstanding. Thank you for being the dream of some little girl watching, inspiration to a woman who has been doubting, and the pride and joy of our grandmothers' prayers. Thank you for your perseverance. Thank you for showing up and being our ancestors' dream. Thank you for reminding us that even when it gets tough, never give up. Thank you for being an inspiration to women all over the world. Thank you for standing strong in the face of ignorance. Thank you for never losing your composure through it all. I see ya, sis! We are rooting for you. Our dreams are even more realized now because of how you showed up. Because of your strength and tenacity, we know that we can dream big, conquer anything, and withstand what may come! Girl, I see ya! It looks good on you, and thank you! You have inspired so many generations of women this week! This is a great reminder of women’s history month! We are equipped, we are prepared, we are educated, and we can do anything! Signed, Encouraged to live out my dreams Happy Friday! Do you realize how faithful God has been to you? Do you remember the time your faith wavered? Guess what, He was still faithful. Even in our moments where we question God, He still shows up for us. Even in moments where we sometimes forget what faith even looks like, He still shows up for us. Grateful for God’s faithfulness; Grateful that even in my moments of unbelief, He was still faithful. I am grateful for the songwriter who wrote, “Great Is Thy Faithfulness!” The lyrics are Great is thy faithfulness, morning by morning new mercies I see; all I have needed God’s hand has provided. Thank you God that you have been faithful despite it all. May you have a Faithful filled Friday and always remember that you are loved! Until Monday……Lady T
Because it’s women’s history month and we are celebrating all month long. This is one of my favorite writings as I reflect on the life of a First Lady! Remember, she is a not a superhero, but a woman too. To every First Lady that I may know or not know, I salute you today! I see you friend, keep doing what you are doing!
There so many things your First Lady deals with that she will never be comfortable sharing with you. If she divulged her feelings with you, you probably couldn’t handle them anyway. Before you judge her, realize that she is a woman just like you; before your judge her, realize that she has feelings just like you; before you judge her, realize that there are days when she doesn’t feel like being present, but shows up for every Bible Study, church service and church event with a smile; before you judge her, realize that her kids are just like yours, so please don’t expect them to do more than your kids do and don’t expect their behavior to always be perfect; before you judge her, realize that she is only one person and it is humanly impossible to check on the needs of every member of the church; before you judge her, realize that her life is on public display voluntarily and involuntarily; before you judge her, realize that she is dealing with life just like you; before your judge her, realize that she is somebody’s wife; mother; daughter, sister, auntie, cousin who has to balance it all; before you judge her, hold her hand and pray with her instead of preying on her; before you judge, realize that she has to share her husband with so many people; before you judge her, please remember that she is making sure her house is in order while her husband is visiting the sick and incarcerated; answering the calls of members and leadership all while preparing for church service and Bible study. So, before you say First Lady is acting different, maybe First Lady is tired; before you say First Lady hasn’t called me, maybe you should check on her; before you say First Lady should do ministry this way, have you every shared your ideas instead of talking about it with your friend circle. Your First Lady is human and has a heart for the people whom her husband pastors! So, the next time you think of her, say a quick prayer for her. Her greatest blessing is knowing that someone thinks enough of her to pray for her. Pray for your First Lady! From one First Lady to another, I see you and you are not walking this journey alone. Always remember that you are loved! Until Friday……Lady T Happy Monday! In this world we live in, it is enough unkindness spread. There are enough pompous people in the world. I encourage you to be kind to those you meet. You never know what someone is dealing with. You never know what someone is thinking. It doesn’t cost you anything to sprinkle love wherever you go. It doesn’t cost you anything to share your smile. It doesn’t cost you anything to spread kindness. So, today I encourage you to be kind to those you come in contact with. Your attitude and smile can change their day. Your willingness to speak can change their day. Your ability to listen can assure them their are still good people in this world. Be kind and be intentional about making a difference in the lives of those you meet. Always remember that you are loved! Until Wednesday…..Lady T
Friendship…..
Happy Friday! I came to ask one question today, “what kind of friend are you?” Are you a friend in their in the valley and mountaintops experiences? Are you the friend who is easily offended? Remember that friends come and go, but real friends stick close like a sister. Yes, sisters may not always agree, but that bond is unbreakable. Don’t allow what they say to you about a real friend cause strife. Real friends know the character of their friends. Real friends can celebrate with you and correct you in love. Make sure you are not the friend who always want to give correction, but cannot receive it. Real friends love even through adversity. May your weekend be as amazing as you are and always remember that you are loved! Until Monday…….Lady T Happy Wednesday! In honor of Women’s History Month, we are celebrating sisterhood all month long. Your future looks bright. Your impact on the world is significant. Girl, you are destined to do great things. Don’t stop now. Don’t give up now. I know you are nervous. I know that you may even be fearful. Girl, I wish you could see the potential that I see. According to Jeremiah 29:11(NKJV), “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
God has BIG plans for your life. Don’t give up too soon. God wants to give you a future and hope. Don’t stop before making it across the finish line. If you give up too soon, you will miss out on all the blessings that God wants to bestow upon you. Girl, I need you to believe in yourself when no one else believes. I need you to walk with confidence. I need you to show up like you deserve to be in the room. Never minimize the potential of your future. Walk-in greatness and believe that your future is BIG, because God believes it about you. Wake up every day believing there is greatness within you! Always remember that you are loved! Until Friday….Lady T Happy Monday! You know the opportunity that you thought was great for you. You know when you were upset when it didn’t work out. Girl, be thankful the door was closed. God is all-powerful and all-knowing. He is Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end. Friend, just trust that it was for your good. Instead of complaining, thank God for his protection. He may be protecting you from people, places, spaces, and things you cannot see. I know you wanted whatever it was, but God knows what’s best for you. Be thankful and never forget that God is your covering and protection even when you do not understand. May your Monday be filled with new opportunities and always remember that you are loved! Until Wednesday….Lady T
Happy Friday! Did you know your tongue has power? Did you know that life and death is in the power of your own tongue? Do you know you have the opportunity to speak death to an idea before even starting? Girl, it’s time to use your tongue wisely. It’s time to be cautious about the words the come from your tongue. It’s the smallest part of the body, but the unruliest. We use our tongue to bless Him and use the same tongue to hurt those whom we claim to love. Your tongue can be used to build up and tear down. Which will you choose? Today, I encourage you to pray and ask God to guide your tongue. Allow life to flow from your tongue and not death. Also, study to be quiet often. You don’t want to reap of consequences of an unruly tongue. May your weekend be as amazing as you are and always remember that you are loved! Until Monday…….Lady T
