​What Are You Carrying In Your Heart?

Happy Wednesday! My sister and my friend, what are you carrying in your heart? What story are you holding onto? What is your heart posture? What if the pain is so great that you can’t even function? What happens when your heart is so heavy from the weights that you have been carrying? It’s time to release whatever is troubling your heart. Psalms 34:18 reminds us that, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

My sister, God knows the issues you carry hidden in your heart. He knows the nights you pour out your heart to Him. He heard every cry and has seen every tear. He wants to heal your heart. You know the heart issues. The one that took the breath from you momentarily. The heart issue that you asked God, “why me?” The heart issue that is buried beneath the surface that only God knows and seed.

God wants to heal you. Will you allow Him to do heart surgery on you today? Will you release the heart issues that are so easy to keep hidden? Will you release the hurt and pain? Will you cry out to God? God is the only one that can truly heal and mend your heart back together. The stony heart needs to beat again and love again. Ezekiel 36:26 reminds us that, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”

Allow God to work on your heart. Yes, I know it hurts. Yes, it feels so much easier to give up. Yes, you want to love wholeheartedly again. Yes, you want to trust again. I pray that you would sit and have a talk with God. Allow Him to mend only what He can and heal what only He can heal. Believe me, I am talking about what I know not something I have witnessed others endure. The amazing thing about our God is that He is there ready and willing, but you have to be ready to deal with the issues of your heart. Have an amazing day and always remember that you are loved!
