​For my married friends……...... Allow your husband to show up for you and celebrate you!

Happy Wednesday! How many times have you shown up for your husband? How many times has he wanted to show up for you and you wouldn’t allow him to? Listen, I know the world we live in encourages us as women to be strong and independent. I know you are a boss in your own world. But, sis, allow him to be proud of you. Allow him to cover you in prayer. Allow him to love you and that means showing up for you. The longer you are married you will realize that material things are nice, but your spouse presence is worth more than things. See things can be replaced, but his love and support for you cannot. Allow him to be your greatest cheerleader. Allow him to be proud to be your husband. I don’t care what this world shows you. I do know that it gives him a sense of pride, when you allow this to take place. Today, allow him to love you, support you, encourage you, clap for you, pray for you, but most of all show up for you. It’s not a burden for him, but an honor for him to do so. May your week be filled with moments where you allow your husband to show up for you. Sis, you don’t have to be in control of the narrative.
