Dear Tikia,

I am so proud of the woman that you have become. You have grown so much. You are absolutely beautiful, smart, resilient, kind, caring, and so much more. Growing up you wondered what life would look like for you. Everyone always had something to say, but most times you remained quiet. You wondered if what you had to say would really impact others. You wondered who would want to hear from a woman like you. You never asked for a platform. Your outlook was if I can impact one person’s life, then you know you made a difference. You never thought you would share openly with others what God was speaking to you privately. You never thought you would continue to encourage the hearts of people, especially women. The words written were never for likes, but to encourage your heart and the hearts of others. You never knew God would trust you with a pen and paper. You often wondered and struggled with your place in life and the world. You often encouraged and cheered on so many to fulfill their dreams and destiny, all while diligently writing about your struggle and the struggles of women around you. Yes, you were the quiet and shy girl who never wanted to be seen or heard. You wondered if what you had to share was even worth it.

Then, the pandemic appeared, and you wondered what the Lord was showing you to do. You had many sleepless nights. You had many doubts. You had many questions and you had many fears. However, you must trust what you told me to do. Even if you have to do it nervous, you will step out because it is for God’s glory. Your faith step is “Life Lessons with Lady T Blog.” You realized that you have been your own greatest hindrance all along. Even in this post, you want to encourage yourself and others to pursue your dreams. Simply do what God has called you to do. Faith without works is dead. We have grown accustomed to encouraging others, all while walking out our dreams in fear. It is never too late to step out....
