Friday Encouragement ~Not By Your Own Strength

Happy Friday! We made it through another week. Some of us were tired when the week began. Some of us had to deal with a Manic Monday, a Terrible Tuesday, a Weary Wednesday, a Tiresome Thursday and a Frantic Friday, but by God’s grace you made it through another week. We thought we would never make it through to the end of the week.

• Do you realize it was not by your own strength?
  
• Do you realize it was God that carried you through?
  
• Do you remember the phone call you received this week?
  
• Do you remember when you could feel yourself becoming overwhelmed?
  
• Do you remember when you wanted to go back to bed and start all over again?

My sister and my friend, this week you realized that you could do all things through Christ strengthen you. It was not by your might, but HIS. It was not by your power, but by HIS. Girl, breathe! Why? Because you made it through the week. I pray that you would realize that life is easier when you rely on the strength of the ONE who kept you. I pray that you would realize that life is easier, when you learn to cast your cares upon HIM because HE cares for you. I pray that you would stop and tell God thank you for allowing you to make it through. When life happens please remember that you can do all things, through Christ who strengthens you. Stop relying upon your own strength! Lean and depend on the ONE who is always there and the ONE who brought you out time and time again! I pray that you would take time to rest this weekend.
