Friday Encouragement

​Dear God, don’t allow my unresolved issues to become battles that my kids will have to fight. Equip and prepare me to deal with the stuff of my childhood and my past. Don’t allow me to bleed on them. Allow me to encourage them. Allow me to share life experiences with them. Allow every childhood wound to be healed, so that I show up whole for my children. Allow me to do the work to be the best parent that I can be. Allow me to not allow the cares of this world to parent differently. Allow me to learn from every mistake while parenting them. God even in parenthood as parents we are still growing and learning. Lord, allow my freedom to spill over into their lives. We cancel every trap of the enemy. Allow them to pursue the dreams that you have given them. Allow me to support them every way and every day. In Jesus Name, Amen
