Friday’s Encouargement

​Dear God, Today, I pray for my sister who is afraid to let go. I pray that you will give her the strength to let go of people, places, and things that hinder her from moving forward in you. Allow her to be bold and courageous. When she closes the door, don’t allow her to look back. Allow her to remember that you make all things new. 

Allow her to move forward in the things you have for her. Allow her to be reminded of Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Before she moves forward allow her to remember that you will be with her very step of the way. Allow her to be reminded of Jeremiah 29:11-13, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”

I pray that she will find the strength to let go. I pray that you wil give her peace in letting go. God, please continue to keep her, protect her, love her, hear her, and wipe her tears. Let her be reminded of the big plans that you have for her life. Don’t allow her to settle for what you never designed for her. Be with her every step of the way. In Jesus Name, Amen.
