It's You!

Happy Wednesday! It’s Self-Check Wednesday! How many times have you pointed the finger at someone else? How many times have you failed to take responsibility for your own actions? When will you take a look at you? My sister and friend, it’s time to deal with you in the mirror. The problem is not anyone else. It’s you! You were upset with everyone else and failed to check you. Sis, it’s you! You have been inpatient, moody, mean, unkind, rude and even dismissive at times.

It’s time to grow up and deal with the lady in the mirror. No longer do you have time to point out everyone’s flaws, mistakes and never look at you. No longer will you hurt others because you have issues that have not been healed. Take a deep breath and look in the mirror. The issue maybe you not wanting to accept your role in the situation. Girl, it’s time to be a big girl and deal with you. If it’s grace you are in need of, I pray that you receive it and extend it. If it’s forgiveness you are in need of, I pray that you would ask for it and extend it. I pray this week you would pause long enough to ask God to show you who you really are. I pray that when He shows you who you really are, you would do the work necessary to becoming your best self. Growth = maturity. Maturity is realizing that the issue could have been “you” all this time. Have an amazing week and always remember that you are loved! Until Friday.......Lady T
