Monday Morning Affirmation

​Happy Monday! How many times have you been hurt and disappointed? You have supported people who have not supported you in return. You have prayed for them and even assisted them through the most difficult times in their life. But you are hurt because the same efforts, love and support were not given to you in return. Yes, it will hurt. Yes, it will not always be easy. It hurts you to lose the ones you love and those you thought would always be there for you. Guess what? It’s going to be okay. Everyone will not take the entire journey with you. Some of those assigned to your life are season, reason and lifetime. You have to be okay with that. Be okay with letting them go! Be okay with walking away! Know that it happens to us all. My sister and my friend, you will get through the hurt and the pain. Don’t allow them walking away stagnate your walk on the journey. Keep pushing and remember everything happens for a reason! Even when you cannot see it, trust and know that all things are working for your good.
