Celebrate Her!


Happy Monday! In honor of Women’s History Month, it’s time to celebrate the women who encourage your heart and inspire you to be your best self. I can think of many women who have impacted my life. The women who believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. Because I am standing on their shoulders and their dreams, I can live out my dreams. Not only live out my dreams but leave a legacy for those to follow in my footsteps. Those women are our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, mothers-in-law, sisters, cousins, girlfriends, church members, sorority sisters, and so many more.

Today, I encourage you to celebrate the many women who pray with you, love you, counsel you, hold your hand, cry with you, laugh with you, encourage you, inspire you, hold you accountable, and most of all celebrate with you. Girl, take the time to celebrate those who have made many deposits to you, especially on the days when you were depleted. The days you thought no one saw you and they encouraged your heart. The days when you wanted to give up, and they prayed for you without even asking questions or inquiring.
Celebrate those women today! Give them their flowers while they are still here with you. Call her, text her, message her, or send her a thank you card. Many women are inspired to keep others going, even while dealing with their stuff. Don’t forget those who encourage and inspire others need to be encouraged as well. Will you be the one to stop and say thank you today? May your day be filled with gratefulness for those who have loved you and cared for you. Always remember that you are loved!
