Rest.......

Happy Friday! I came to encourage your heart today. The word for today my sister and my friend is, “Rest.” I know it been hard lately. You mind is consumed by so much. You are physically present, and your thoughts are afar off. My sister it is time to rest. Rest in knowing that God is in control. Rest in know that God is all powerful and all knowing. Rest in knowing that God sees you, God loves you, and God is concerned about you. Rest is important. You cannot pour from an empty cup. You cannot operate from the residue of yesterday. I pray that this weekend, you would take time to rest. God said if you are weary, come. If you are heavy laden, come. God will give you rest. My sister and my friend, you are weary and tired, but God will give the rest that is necessary for the journey. May you weekend be filled with rest and rejuvenation for your spirit, soul, and heart.
