Sis, Who Are You Showing Up As?

Happy Wednesday! It’s my prayer that your day is off to a great start. My question is simple this week, “who are you showing up as?” Do you show up as your authentic self? Do you show up with a great cover-up? My sister and my friend, it’s time to show up as the authentic you. You have covered up the real you for so long, you have begun to believe it’s the real version of you. The real you is beautiful. The real you doesn’t have to keep up and doesn’t have to rehearse her lines. Its energy wasted and time taken.

​I pray that you show up as the real version of yourself every day. If you are struggling with doing so, I pray that God would strengthen you to do the work necessary. You feel better when it’s authentic and genuine. You feel better when you don’t have to talk yourself into being something that others expect you to be. You are more confident when you show up as you. Life is better when you show up as your authentic self. I encourage you today to appreciate how God created you. I encourage you to walk knowing that God made you with a purpose. Show up as the “authentic” you today and not the “fraudulent” you!
