Happy Wednesday! Do you remember a time you had to deal with what you thought was the hardest season of your life? Do you remember the pain you experienced? Do you remember how your heart was broken into pieces? Did you think that you would break free? During this season, you thought you were going to lose everything (even your mind). Your emotions were unstable. Your thoughts were unstable. Even your plans were unstable.
But today, you can look back and say that God brought you out. You can look back and say that God lifted your head. You can look back and say that God mended your broken heart. In the midst of this season, you were alone and afraid. You cried yourself to sleep and worried all day. We have all been there. That season brought us closer to God. That season caused us to seek counseling from a licensed professional. That season caused us to lean and depend on God. That season caused our prayer life to increase. My sister, if you are there now, remember that God is with you. Ensure that you are taking care of you, especially in this season. My sister, if you have been there, don’t forget to reach back and encourage the heart of another lady, because someone did it for you. My friend, the hard season shocked you, rocked your world and felt like the death of someone or something near and dear to your heart. You will get through this! I promise you will. It won’t be this way always! Encourage your heart by reading Psalm 3:4, “But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.” Grateful that we serve a God who sees, who knows and who cares. Even in the hard season with tears in your eyes, your response should be, “Thank you Lord for lifting my head!” I pray that your day is as amazing as you are and always remember that you are loved! Until Friday…..Lady T
