The Thanskgiving Table

Happy Thanksgiving Eve! Many of us are up early getting started or finishing up all the fixings for Thursday morning. Today, I want you to stop and encourage someone. Someone will sit a Thanksgiving and there will be an empty seat. Someone is consumed with grief and tears. Someone is eating dinner all alone. Someone is depressed by the holidays and what they use to have. Today, I need you to pick up the phone. I need you to send the text. I need you to stop by and make a visit. Many people suffer in silence during the holidays. I encourage you today to be a source of encouragement for family, friends, coworkers, or any other person you may come in contact with. I encourage you to brighten someone’s day. Someone needs a hand to hold, a shoulder to cry on, and even a listening ear. Will you slow down long enough to be that person this week?
