Wednesday’s Life Lesson

Hey, girl, hey! Wake up, it’s Winning Wednesday. Listen, I know you are tired of doing good things for people and you don’t get the same in return. I know they broke your heart. I know you said I’ll never do it again to be hurt again. Sis, keep doing good. Don’t let one bad apple spoil the bunch. Don’t allow what she did to keep you from creating new friendships. Don't allow what they did to destroy your ability to trust again. Believe me, I know it hurts. Yep, I have been where you have been. You showed up for her. You encouraged her. You prayed with her. You cried with her. Only for her to hurt you in the end. Listen, sis, give it and her to God and keep doing good. Don’t let what they did prevent you from moving forward. Sis, friendship is good. Friendship is beautiful. My husband always says friendships are for a season, a reason, or a lifetime. Sis, I just need you to know the difference. 

​As women, we should be uplifting and encouraging one another. We should be praying for one another. We should be our sister’s loudest cheerleader. Listen, don’t let what they did keep you from doing good. There are still some good women in this world who would love to pray with you, encourage you, support you, laugh with you, cry with you, and uphold confidentiality.
