Happy Wednesday! I know that you have been hard on yourself lately; I know that you have wondered why does this keep happening to me; I know you think if you look a certain way, then you wouldn’t have to go through this; I know that you think you have to look a certain way to be accepted; I know you are struggling with your hair whether it’s natural, relaxed, locs, short cut, crochet hair or braids; I know you feel like your face has to be beat (look nice) for each event that you attend; I know you dress up for compliments and not for yourself; I know you try to keep up with the next woman; I know that your weight has always been an issue; I know you feel defeated when stretch marks and cellulite appear; I know that even when your feet and back are hurting, you insist on keep those heels on all day to prove a point...well, it’s not always easy being a woman.
But, what I do know it that you are absolutely beautiful. God created you to be you! Stop trying to be like the next woman and stop comparing yourself to another woman. You don’t know what her struggles are, but you insist upon comparing yourself to her. Be grateful with how God created you, that includes kinky hair, curves, full lips, wide nose, etc. I encourage you to look in the mirror and say to yourself, “I am so beautiful; my skin is beautiful; my hair is beautiful; I am in love with me and I am in love with how God created me!” Hold your head high today and always; walk with purpose and know that you are beautiful! Have an amazing day and always remember that you are loved! Until Friday....Lady T
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
