You Are Blessed To Be Their Mom....

Happy Friday! I want you to know that they are blessed to call you mom. I know you may feel inadequate. I know you think most days you are failing and you can’t figure it out. No matter what’s going on, you will always be mom. No matter how you feel or what’s happening in your world, your kids know they can always count on you. Most times they call for you before they will call for dad. It’s such a blessing to be a mother. 
 
Today, there is a woman somewhere praying that she would be able to enjoy the journey of motherhood. I pray for her this morning and her heart. I pray that God would bless her with a gift that most, if not all women desire to experience. I can remember having surgery and the doctor telling me that they wouldn’t know, if I would be able to have kids until after surgery was performed. At that moment, I thought my world was falling about. But, my husband and I prayed and trusted God. I am forever grateful for two of my greatest blessings. So, I pray for the woman who desires to know the journey of motherhood with her own kids.
 
Moms, never take your role for granted. You will be your son’s first love and your daughter’s best friend. You will be the example of what they allow or accept. I am grateful for my mother and even more grateful to be a mom.  Moms share great wisdom nuggets; give the best hugs; cook the best dishes and desserts and knows when your heart is troubled. God built moms to be nurturers by nature. So, if you are a mom, grandmother, aunt, godmother or mentor, please know that are blessed to have you in their lives. Know that you are their greatest blessing. Know that they are watching everything that you say and you do. Be grateful for the journey of motherhood, but be even more grateful God has entrusted us to nurture them and prepare them for life. Happy Early Mother’s Day!
