Happy Friday! I came to remind you that harsh words do hurt. Your words should be tasted before being spewed out of your mouth. I know they upset you and I know they crushed your feelings. However, how will you handle your words when uncomfortable situations arise? Will you respond in anger? Will you respond with gentleness? Your words have the ability to hurt or heal someone. Don’t become consumed by getting even that you wound the person you love. Don’t allow your emotions and/or feelings to cause you to seek revenge with your words. Be cautious of your words and how you respond. Your words can either calm the situation or add fuel to the fire. It’s okay to respond with gentleness. It’s doesn’t make you weak, it makes you thoughtful of what you say before you say it. Remember, you can’t take back words conveyed in anger. Choose your words wisely!
